I think there was, as evidenced by his brief appearance in here - he definitely wasn't either GS or JRM and he did spill some rather revealing Paracast insider information in an attempt to gain some sympathy to GS's plight - I doubt that GS would have wanted that! Anyway he seems to have faded into the background now - and if he has any sense has disappeared completely else he gets dragged under by the vortex that is GS.

The "webmaster" is no longer referred to now with respect to both storefronts - but rather a "marketing person" - it's all a crazy fabrication in the usual GS fashion :)

But hey ho - watch those spaces!

Lastly the list of his debts (other than the $44k Torson one) is quite staggering -- car loans, credit cards, personal loans, leases.

From what I see with that bankruptcy statement, here was a person living way beyond his means and it caught up with him. What also seems clear, Steinberg hasn’t learned a damn thing from becoming bankrupt. You would think that would be a wake up call. Time to buckle down and get your affairs in order. I don’t sense Steinberg got the message at all.

he appears to have learnt nothing, nor changed his ways at all - a mixture of total denial and abject arrogance seems to pervade, he's beyond help !

Agreed.

His cockeyed rationalization seems to be that he's meant to be living the life he imagines that he would have had if he had somehow received the $200,000+ he expected from helping out his late brother-in-law's family.

Therefore, he's entitled to that envisioned lifestyle, and attempts to live it even though he lacks the wherewithal to pay for it. (Goodbye, Desert Mirage!)

Or, that's the story one gets, at any rate. You may have even read about it in an email from him a time or three.

He certainly seems unwilling to live within his means, and is not at all shy when it comes to braying about the terrible injustice of his circumstances, and the imperative it places upon everyone else to restore to him all the trappings of life to which he imagines himself entitled.

Odds seem good he'd living beyond his means and chasing more dollars through some hopeless scheme regardless of the balance of his bank account (or for that matter, of his PayPal account).

I am putting together a recap of gene begs for Jan. one thing that I caught is in 16 out of 17 beg mails he uses the word "I" exclusively. only once does he use "we've " and most telling no mention of Barb or teddy bear.

This situation is not sustainable.

For the past seven months, I’ve been living in a motel. Obviously it costs far more than a decent apartment.

The extra money I’ve paid would more than cover the cost of moving, up-front costs and even rent for several months.

But I haven’t been able to do both.

In short, I can’t afford to leave and I’ll soon be unable to afford to stay.

So let's examine this.

The Turdmaster General gets evicted from several apartments for not paying. Then he moves into a motel which is more expensive yet somehow manages to stay there longer than the apartments.

Now he is pointing out this inconsistency to us as if we hadn't seen it and it somehow strengthens his case for begging.

Listen you stinking turd of a human being, please explain how you can pay more for a motel for months yet couldn't pay your apartment rent at all? In what twisted mind does that make sense?

There seems no reason to think that if he gets into another apartment he get himself evicted for non-payment yet again. Considering he still blames others for his last eviction, it's hard to believe that he's learned anything.

Thinking back it seems to me that it is more than seven months, more like nine. Of course an honest person who was in true crisis would know exactly how long it had been. Not Schemey though.

Gene was evicted from the luxury Desert Marage in June. so 7 this time.
from Feb to late March 2018 he was also in a hotel . This is about a month more.

Oh and, I just noticed that was posted in the locked OFF TOPIC ARCHIVES thread. So the genius deletes posts, closes the thread, and is STILL going back days later to respond to comments. What was it David Biedny said about the brain trust over there? The gang that can't fart straight? Seems about right. Maybe a little generous.
