I've been looking up something Kind of neat. You can get a program here: Best Free Windows To Go Creator to create portable Windows 10, 8, 7! That Installs A working Bootable version of any version of windows you want, It runs right from the USB. It's slow, But It's great for Pc repair, You can just pop this guy into any USB port, Set up the Bios Boot order to accept boot from USB, And you have a working OS completely from USB to Scan for viruses, or install another version of windows, Hell, It's cool for Privacy issues too, I mean, It's your own portable version on windows on a Flash drive. The Sky is the limit.
Here is another option, This is Rufus: Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way With this one you can install Linux in much the same way, Either way, I work on a lot of PCs, having something like this is vital for what I do.
And It's just plain Snazzy.
Either way, You will need The ISO of whatever OS you want to install, Those can be found easily.
I highly recommend a portable Operating system, You never know when it will come in handy and You can just chuck it in your wallet and forget about it.
