Anybody remember these? I grew up on them. didn't care about superheroes
Don’t forget this soldier...
I wouldn't be surprised if there were a revival of military themed comics. The U.S. military is pretty popular these days (in America).
I sort of hope not, I am pretty sick of generations of war. When I was reading these GI Joe was also a favorite, although in the '70s he became the Adventure Team.
Always loved Weird War - and considering the stuff we go on about in this forum it isn't really out of place, is it? Amazing how the stories come back once I staretd looking at the cover art.
It would be hard to argue that all the superhero stuff is less violent.
I read some of these comics in the late 70s along with super hero comics...
my favorite comic growing up!
I liked something similar - except it was the Playboy magazines my brother hid out in the barn
I read Playboy too...for the articles.
I used to read playboy to I found the articles on Marilyn Chambers especially fascinating.
to get things back on track here is a comic I am glad is dead.
Do you remember the TV show? I used to always look forward to it.
I did like that show when I was younger, it ran for many years too...
Had all of them through 1995
not really comics but I am glad they are gone.
Fun for the whole traumatized, psycho-social hostage family.
