I wouldn't be surprised if there were a revival of military themed comics. The U.S. military is pretty popular these days (in America).
I sort of hope not, I am pretty sick of generations of war. When I was reading these GI Joe was also a favorite, although in the '70s he became the Adventure Team. Always loved Weird War - and considering the stuff we go on about in this forum it isn't really out of place, is it? Amazing how the stories come back once I staretd looking at the cover art. It would be hard to argue that all the superhero stuff is less violent.
