Its to bad the information on AU isn't available....there was a lot there......including the enhancements you mention.
They don't really show anything there except for the intersection of searchlight beams......and that is the only image that can be used to claim anything out of the ordinary. I'd say the burden of proof is lacking.
Some years ago that show "fact or faked" did put a bunch of search lights intersecting each other and no form or shape apeared. There is no doubt imo that they were pointing at some object in the sky that night.
What I can't understand is why they were firing live rounds over a populated area when there was nothing there ?
We are all looking at an old old image with tech none of us are familiar with making assumptions that are mostly uninformed ( myself included). Has anyone come across transcripts or interviews of any of the searchlight operators at the time. One photo shows 8 lights, Castle pointed out more than one person was needed to operate a light. So even if the crew was only 2, that is 16 people who were there. More if the crews were larger. Surely someone interviewed them sometime. Castle posted a while back about nothing being their. Those lights are focused on a single point.
I would bet London to a brick it would be very hard to get 8 blokes with hand held spotlights standing in a line, all talking to get a consistent focal point with nothing but air to aim at. It you have 8 crews spread across a city. IMHO it would be next to impossible. So I believe there was something their on the night. As for being ET well that is another matter. But do any of you USA folks know about newspaper archives from the time? Surely the people aiming the lights would have a story that is at the least worth considering?
Like in the image I posted above I see the search lights passing beyond the supposed object
Fair enough....they are very faint. Remember this was film and technology from the 1941 at the latest in the famous Culvert City image. But I still don't see an object there either.
The more I look at them the easier it is to see the beams on the other side of the convergence.......especially using the brighter beams. Some can also be seen going along the low cloud layer too.
When you look at something too long you see things that aren't there...I don't see any beams on the other side of the convergence as you call it, I see the beams hitting a solid object...
Haven't looked at it a long time.....its just what I see on the images. Then again people don't see whats there because it goes against their belief system.....its best to keep an open mind.
