Ian has a thing for Milla Jovovich. her poster hanging on her wall. so I popped in R.E. 1. the movie was decent a non stop train ride from one action sequence to the next Jovovich is decent and kicks butt. I enjoyed the movie.
this is rate the last movie I half saw..
Imagine Barney and the teletubbies had kids. Next they taught the kids the worst obnoxious traits they possess.
That's the ogieloves. This movie was wretched a horrible example of a kids movie! horrible songs.
Absolutely the bottom of the barrel acting from the humans involved.
My 5 year old daughter lost interest in it allowing us to spare her the rest of this horrible movie
grandma Burrus meant well...
I've seen all of these more than a few times. Enjoyed them all.
Having a seance during Covid 19, so it has to be done thru zoom.
It does become scary and if I let myself go with the flow, I would have been terrified. I've been watching a lot of ghost stuff on youtube lately so, it was easier to calm myself.
I'm watching this movie a little bit later this evening, I enjoyed it the first time I saw it a few years ago, I would give it a 6 out of 10...
This was the first film Di Caprio made after Titanic and as such you could only imagine the expectations especially from the fangirls back then. It was huge. What about the movie? Well it is a Danny Boyle film many forget and he is a class act. The Beach is based on a book of the same name and has some stunning picturesque locations(Thailand) but there are no redeeming qualities among any of the characters and the film just sort of...trudges along. You can watch it but there's nothing much to recommend- both Boyle and Di caprio have done far better work.
Only Michael Bay can do a comedy version of Mission Impossible. Ryan Reynolds is one of the best comedy action actors around at the moment, he takes his band of dead specialists to depose a despot. The effects in this film are something to marvel at, it whizzes along at a breaknecking pace. I'll say one thing Mission Impossible was never this violent or funny, the body count is very high and so are the one liners. Overall the it's a very entertaining 2 hours, blink and you will miss something.
Here's my Deathstalker (1983) review. No spoilers.
One of the Raunchiest Sword & Sorcery Flicks Ever!
The plot is basic sword and sorcery fare, featuring a muscular warrior-hero, a witch, a wizard, and a variety of magical talismans. What distinguishes the film, however, is the abundance of sexual violence, graphic non-sexual violence, and female nudity. It well deserves its R rating.
Nevertheless, it's a fairly entertaining adventure overall. Nothing deep. Just your basic battle between good and evil, spiced up with fighting, gore and sex.
Lastly, it may be worth mentioning that Deathstalker was popular enough to spawn three sequels.
The lead actress is Barbi Benton. Hugh Hefner's long time girlfriend and she is now 70 years old.
Like World War Z only one hundred times better. Probably one of the best Zombie films I've seen.
The premise of the film is there is a Zombie outbreak in Korea, which occurs while commuters are on a train heading to Busan which is supposedly a safe zone. Of course things do not go smoothly on the way and all hell breaks lose. Bit like Snakes on a Plane just with Zombies.
What language are they speaking?
Korean with English subtitles.
I mean half the time they are running, screaming and/or fighting so doesn't make much difference.
I'm going to watch this tonight, did you know there's a sequel?...
There is a sequel out now called Peninsula. I haven't seen it yet.
The copy I watched was dubbed. I didn't mind it. I prefer it over sub titles because I hate reading my movies. Plus most of the sub jobs are poorly translated. lol
Damn this is a good zombie movie, I like all the action lol, I'm watching it now, thanks!...
Galaxy Quest (1999) is a fun movie to watch, I haven't seen it for years, and recently watched it again, very entertaining IMO...
I wholeheartedly agree with you, Nivek. It's one of my all time favorites.
