Richie EsQuivel was the one to spot the unsettling scene, and said he had to do a double-take when he saw what appeared to be a fresh line of paint adorning the animal. The picture snapped by EsQuivel shows how the unsanctioned stripe served as a continuation of a fresh line of paint recently laid by the city, supposed to call attention to the start of the shoulder on Getwell Road. Still there early Friday, the dead coon is set to be removed later in the morning, city officials said - hopefully with a more respectful sendoff. Speaking to WREG Thursday, EsQuivel recalled how he came across the bizarre display.

A black bear was shot and killed after it broke into a Montana home in the middle of the night through a screened window.Thomas Bolkcom, 27, had to gun down the wild animal after it broke into his home in the rural community of Luther, Montana, on Thursday night.
After staying up late the night before with his fiancé Seeley Oblander, the two had been woken around 3AM with their dog Maizey barking furiously.
Bolkcom, who works as a commercial painter and elk hunter, went to investigate and discovered black bear standing in his living room.
After quickly grabbing his handgun, Bolkcom managed to shoot the bear before it made off into another room, where he killed it.
The couple and Bolkcom's brother dragged the bear outside then called both their fathers, who came to the house to meet with a game warden so the others could catch their morning flight.
Oblander told the Billings Gazette: 'We wanted it out of our house, the bear smelled awful, and he really made a mess.'
The warden told them the bear was around ten years old and weighed around 250-300 pounds.
Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks spokesperson Chrissy Webb said that the shooting was justified in self-defense.

Texas Woman Attacked by Snake and Hawk at the Same Time
A woman in Texas recently experienced a bizarre and truly terrifying ordeal when she was struck by a snake that fell from the sky before they were both attacked by a hungry hawk seconds later. The unfathomable incident reportedly occurred last Tuesday afternoon as Peggy Jones was mowing the lawn outside of her residence in the town of Silsbee. The normally routine bit of yardwork turned into a nightmare when a snake plummeted from the sky and landed on her. The undoubtedly disoriented animal then wrapped itself around her arm and, she later recalled, "was squeezing so hard." However, this was only the start of an incredibly strange dual animal attack that Jones won't soon forget.Attempting to rid herself of the reptile, she began "waving my arms in the air," however this wound up catching the attention of a hawk that had presumably dropped the snake and wanted the snack back. Determined not to lose out on its meal, the bird swooped down and began clawing at Jones, who recounted how "I just kept saying, 'Help me, Jesus, Help me, Jesus,'" as the unbelievable attack unfolded. Incredibly, she indicated that the hawk made at least four attempts at retrieving the snake until it was finally successful and flew off with the food, leaving behind a bloody and bewildered Jones.
Having suffered numerous lacerations on her arm by way of the bird and concerned that she may have also been bitten by the snake, Jones was rushed to the hospital, where she was treated for the dual animal attack. Fortunately, doctors determined that the reptile had 'only' caused some bruising when it wrapped itself around her and that the more serious injuries were caused by the hawk. That said, she noted that she later found "snake venom on my glasses," suggesting that she had narrowly avoided being bitten during the harrowing experience. Looking back on the astounding incident, rather than ascribing the moment to some kind of profound misfortune, Jones actually marveled that "I feel like the luckiest person alive to have survived this!”

A dog hit the pedal on a golf cart and ran over a 4-year-old, who was uninjured
Bella, an arson dog, jumped down from the seat of a golf cart and landed on the accelerator pedal, sending the cart toward people attending a Friday night festival, the Westland Fire and Rescue Department said in news release. Firefighters attempted to gain control of the cart and steer it away from people attending the event. Before they were able to stop the vehicle it struck a 4-year-old girl, running over her left leg, the fire department said.

Since the first one you posted, my fertile imagination has been intermittently musing on that strange situation on the clip, and have had my ear to the web to see if anything develops from the story. ... But as is the usual case, all that I can come up with is the mandatory hearsay, unqualified opinions delivered with the subtle force of a sledgehammer [in order to appear as smart as the oracle ] ... some woman on Tic toc has a friend that "assures her that alcohol was involved" ... another "alleged passenger' claims that the mysterious woman even tried to re-board the plane with the rest of them when it had been security-cleared to resume the flight... but was ejected by the airline officials! ... but nothing regarding this episode is corroborated in any way [just declared on Tic toc] ... By far the weirdest claim is that "the passenger" [some other sources claim it was a flight attendant that she was screaming about] was in fact a "reptoid" and was identified as such by his eyes "BLINKING SIDEWAYS" ... and has even submitted a video of him [in a green hoody] to prove it!! ...

American Airlines passenger behind ‘not real’ viral tirade that delayed travelers for hours ID’d as marketing executive
The woman behind the epic airplane meltdown where she proclaimed “that motherf—r back there is not real” to bemused fellow passengers is a Texas marketing executive who told cops the rant was sparked by an argument over wireless headphones.Tiffany Gomas, a Dallas resident, was kicked off the plane following her bizarre outburst which led to hours of delays for other passengers, documents reviewed by The Post show.
Despite claiming “I’m getting the f—k off, and there’s a reason why I’m getting the f—k off” in the viral video of her storming up and down the plane aisle, the 38-year-old was not willing to leave the American Airlines flight and had to be removed by staff, according to the police documents.
Before heading toward the front of the plane, Gomas added in her address to passengers: “You can sit on this plane and you can f—ing die with them or not. I’m not going to.”
The argument had started when Gomas fell out with relatives she was traveling with, accusing them of stealing her AirPods, the cops said.
“The female then started claiming the aircraft was not safe and did not want the aircraft to leave due to her believing it would not make it to its destination,” the July 2 complaint reads.
“Due to the statements the flight attendants felt the aircraft needed to be rescreened. [The airline manager] explained that the passenger was denied boarding and they wanted her escorted to the public side.”
All the other passengers on Flight 1009 from Fort Worth to Orlando were then made to deplane so they could be screened through security again as a precaution because of the the nature of Gomas’ complaints.
“TSA personnel arrived at the scene to conduct a full rescreening of the aircraft,” the paperwork revealed.
By the time officers arrived at the gate, Gomas was “distraught” and trying to get back onto the plane. When Dallas-Fort Worth Department of Public Safety cops tried to speak to Gomas, she refused.
“[The airline manager] gave Gomas a verbal criminal trespass notice, explaining she was denied boarding and needed to depart the secure area,” investigators noted.
The rejected passenger was eventually escorted to the non-secure area of the airport, but that didn’t stop her from attempting to come back through TSA screening and into the boarding area multiple times, the documents say.
Police eventually tracked Gomas down to the terminal curb, where she was sitting and waiting for an Uber.
She was given a ticket for criminal trespass notice which she refused to sign. Gomas did not show police her ID, the complaint states. She was never formally arrested or taken into custody. Through a representative, Gomas declined to give comment on the incident to The Post.
Although her reputation has taken a hit, at least legally Gomas is likely in the clear.
“The viral video if the stunning part of it, but I doubt you’re going to see some big prosecution over it,” Austin Attorney Adam Loewy told The Post.
Public records show Gomas lives in a $2 million home in city’s coveted Lakewood neighborhood.
She is a marketing executive who served as vice president of Elevate Brand Marketing, where she was named a “rising star” in 2017 by a trade publication.
“Tiffany has built a sales portfolio and track record that rivals account managers with decades in the business,” co-worker Dave Sedlin told the outlet.
The Oklahoma State University graduate advised young people starting in her industry to “roll with the punches” and “work hard and play hard,” in the accompanying profile.

The most powerful strains you can get your hands on (the ones I grow) just aren't going to get you that messed up when smoked. Edibles are another matter, you can actually overdose with those. Smoking will get you silly, in need of snacks and a nap later - yes. Nearer My God To Thee, not so much. If you get that whacked there's something else in the weed.
Had a friend that would roll a big spliff and once in a while sprinkle that evil white powder in it. I not only don't like that stuff I strenuously object to it, yet he'd do it without warning. Arrrrgh. You'd get all silly and have to deal with your face being numb like you went to the dentist. Nasty ****, that.

Ghanaian Village Fears Construction Project May Have Unleashed Deadly Curse
Residents of a village in Ghana are on edge following four mysterious deaths which many believe were brought about by a construction project that desecrated a pair of revered locations within their community. The curious case reportedly began in early July in the community of Emena when a developer inexplicably carved a path through a cemetery and a "sacred space" where, resident Kofi Boateng explained, "our chiefs perform annual rituals for the welfare of the town."The seemingly haphazard construction project resulted in bodies inadvertently being exhumed from the graveyard and the destruction of the sanctified spot which had been a central part of the community for over four centuries.
As one might imagine, residents of the village were aghast when they discovered what had been done, though the developer insisted that they had the proper authorization for the audacious project. While that matter is being investigated by authorities, community members are living in fear following what they say are a series of strange deaths which have occurred ever since the cemetery and sacred space were desecrated. The peculiar passings of four individuals described as "energetic youth who showed no signs of illness" has led many to suspect that some kind of curse was unleashed by the developer.
"We, the youth in the community, believe that the destruction of these two sites have angered our ancestors, causing these deaths," declared Boateng. As such, concerned residents are calling on the village elders to perform the necessary rituals to assuage the displeased deities and have expressed consternation that a month has passed without any attempts at making such amends. It is uncertain what is causing the delay, though one imagines that the ceremonies will be conducted soon as those responsible for cleansing the two locations are under considerable pressure to do since officials have prohibited burials in the cemetery until the rituals are performed.
