Actually, there is a precedent with auto manufacturers and making them more theft proof. Honda maybe, Accords maybe, years ago ?? We've heard this before. What's old is new again I guess.

UK prime minister says country shouldn't 'be bullied' into believing there are more than 2 genders

United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak went viral this week for a speech in which he said no one should be "bullied into believing that people can be any sex they want." Sunak, the first British Asian to hold the high office, said in his remarks at the Conservative Party conference on Wednesday that "a man is a man, and a woman is a woman," which was met with loud applause by the party faithful.

"We are going to change this country, and that means life. Now, that shouldn’t be a controversial position," Sunak said. "The vast majority of hard-working people agree with it. It also shouldn’t be controversial for parents to know what their children are being taught in school about relationships. Patients should know when hospitals are talking about men or women."

"And we shouldn’t get bullied into believing that people can be any sex they want to be. They can’t. Man is a man, and a woman is a woman, that’s just common sense," the U.K. leader said.

Sunak’s comments come as the British government announced that hospitals would not allow non-biological women in female hospital wards and prevent convicted sex offenders from changing their gender.

On Tuesday, The Telegraph reported plans for U.K. Health Secretary Steve Barclay to announce proposals to push back against "wokery" in the health service that has led to women’s rights being increasingly sidelined.

Personally, I've had quite enough of Manhattan and NYC as a whole and could care less about it anymore. I paid my dues, problem is my wife still has to travel there at least once a week. Family, unavoidable. We rearranged her travel schedule for fear of her being assaulted or worse. And yet, the uberliberal insanity just keeps getting worse and worse. They're mandating new brown garbage cans - trash, recycling and now compost. So you'll have bins full of compost sitting on the streets. Remember that big RAT problem ? Adams just annoited a crony for a cushy city job as a Rat Czar. Oh, that all makes perfect sense. Save the world with green composting - for the rats and cock roaches.

American Pharmacists Association's new trans-friendly guide urges staff to use 'chest' instead of 'breasts' and 'cycle' rather than 'period'

Pharmacists should refer to 'breasts' as 'chest' and 'periods' as 'cycles' to be more inclusive to transgender people, according to a leading medical body.

Pharmacies should also install at least one gender-neutral restroom in each store and consider calling out patients using a numbered system rather than using gender-specific titles like Mr, Ms or Mrs.

The recommendations were published in a guide by the American Pharmacists Association — which represents 62,000 pharmacists nationwide.

The APhA researchers said the shift is 'intended to bring awareness to pharmacy staff and personnel' and create 'safe spaces' for patients of all genders and sexual orientations.

The new recommendations were published as a pre-print in the Journal of the American Pharmacists Association ahead of their expected inclusion in next month's edition.

What Einstein actually said:

"Moreover, under existing conditions, private capitalists inevitably control, directly or indirectly, the main sources of information (press, radio, education). It is thus extremely difficult, and indeed in most cases quite impossible, for the individual citizen to come to objective conclusions and to make intelligent use of his political rights."

At times like this, I think we would do well to recall the prescient words of Abraham Lincoln:

I knew that meme is just a meme and I've double checked for Einstein's original before posting the meme, but considered that the difference is minor.

Einstein talked in present tense, while meme picture was talking in a future tense. Both have same timeless message ( relevant to us ) that rich people manipulate media that they own so much that public can not make informed opinion.

I would say that attention to fine detail here caused "not seeing the forest for the trees" problem.

My neighbor has had this can laying on his lawn for a couple of weeks now, I see it every day when we walk our dog. Some other passing canine rendered it's own opinion on it. I thought it summed the whole thing up beautifully
