I made this thread for fun, Here is a Thread where you can throw your most despised paranormal theories and chuck them right under a bus. You should try it, It's fun.

I think I'll throw the Chupacabra Under the bus,

I mean it's pretty lame, Even if it turned out to be true, It would still be lame, So, Under the bus. What would you throw under the bus?

I have to agree, Especially on the Rods, Since Day one I assumed all of those where simple photographic artefacts.

I recall seeing a show when they were looking for rods......but they saw nothing until they shook the bushes. Then there were dozens of rods which on high speed cameras showed them to be bugs.

What makes that so bad is, the guys shaking the bush knew this when they tried to pass the story off.

Actually they were the ones trying to prove they were bugs.....as their high speed film showed.
Ahh, my bad, These where the debunkers themselves, Somehow I missed that lol, My bad, Still, I'm not opposed to the possibility that somewhere in science some mass like a volume of virtual particles could manifest in and out of existence travelling at that speed. Virtual particle - Wikipedia

But, I don't believe it would be like the classic cases of reported rods. In fact, There is the possibility that Virtual particles are subatomic in nature only and such a thing couldn't even happen. Virtual particles though. somewhat similar to rods at least in some respects.

I've not heard of virtual particles......but then subatomic physics isn't my thing. I have no doubt such particles exist.....but they resemble rods it would be under a microscope.

I'm going to need to study Rods more before I write them out entirely. Scientifically, almost anything is possible though.

No one grabbed Nibiru? I assumed that would be one of the first things to go.

I gotta admit, That is a good one to throw under the bus, I never really bought into it much. Though much to its credit, Some scientists actually believe it's possible.

But I look at it like this, Lots of things are possible, But Nibiru is a work of fiction. Imo.

When the Nemesis/Planet X Theory started in the late 1970s it made sense too.....but as the sky is falling brigade tells it it is a work of fiction.
Here is what I know of it, From factual science, It has long been speculated that something is pulling at our solar system it's shown in I believe Neptune's orbit in the way it acts at a certain point, scientists believe some huge mass like that of a dense planet is locked in some kind of stretched elliptical orbit and the projected path determines at some point it will come really close to earth. If something that dense gets that close to the earth it will not collide with us. No, It will break the planet into pieces pulling it's entire mass into it before it even gets here. So it would be Grim depending on how closely it passed by.

I've read about it for years, And I'm open to the idea, But I'm not counting on it being a real thing...

I've heard the same -- that something massive is pulling on the solar system. I think there could be another large body out there. I guess my issue with Nibiru is that it's become such a new age thing.

There is a good though now outdated book called "The Nemesis Affair" that suggest a "Planet X" in a highly elliptical orbit would pass thru the Oort Cloud and every 26 million years or so send asteroids towards earth.

But since that time in the late 1980s periodic extinctions have been pretty much disproved. A lot of the nibiru "ideas" appear to come from this concept.

It's not Unpossible. I Fear the possibility of it, And at the same time, Hope it's not true.

Thank you, I'm going to look it up. Do you think there is an audiobook version?
