You don't break anything The Shadow. There are plenty of interpretations, but none, except mine, goes that far in term of number of details matching history for each of the four beasts of Daniel 7.hate to break it to you but the 4 beast of Daniel have nothing to do with the British royals.
The 4 Beasts of Daniel and Revelation » Christian Truth Center
let us discuss the 2nd beast the one you think is Henry the 8th.
he did have a large girth I will grant you.
Henry has the blood of TWO of his 6 wives on his hands the 3rd died in childbirth. let me ask how did you come to interpret the prophecy of 4 kingdoms to be of the royal family?
please don't say "the bible says." I want to know the process from beginning to end on how you came to the interpretation.
The link you provide offers the usual mistake often people share. They take from Daniel 2 - the Nebuchadnezzar’s dream - the four beasts of Daniel 7. The problem is that in DAN 2 it's about a single statue with FIVE parts, not four: 1) head (gold), 2) chest & arms (silver), 3) belly & thighs (bronze), 4) legs (iron), then, at last, 5) feet (iron and clay). That is that clear that (DAN 2:34) a rock was cut out, but not by human hands. It struck the statue on its feet of iron and clay and smashed them, NOT the legs, ONLY the feet, the fifth part.
Dan 2:35 even adds that the iron (1), the clay (2), the bronze (3), the silver (4) and the gold (5) were all broken to pieces. So, not four 'beasts', but five parts of a single statue, ALL BEING FROM DIFFERENT PLACES. (Dan 2:35) But the rock that struck the statue became a huge mountain and filled the whole earth, because the New Jerusalem will be built in the region of Babylon and will resemble a mountain with a mothership 'flying' still above that city of God with its protective force field (like a huge pyramid).
Besides, DAN 2 never mentions the word 'beast(s)' to define these parts. This word is used here:
Dan 2:38 in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.
Nebuchadnezzar never was the ruler of the other following empires having ruled over Babylon, by definition. And the word 'birds' comes to confirm the natural status of the beasts of the field (not parts of the statute).
Dan 2:39 calls these parts of the statute 'kingdoms', DIFFERENT kingdoms when they actually speak about that same Babylon (same statue, including Nebuchadnezzar). They were different because they were bigger and bigger...around that same central spot (Babylon).
Dan 2:40 says 'finally, there will be a fourth kingdom' (Roman Empire) from which came Britannia (England), because, UNLIKE these four first kingdoms which chronologically followed each other without any time gap, the British Empire (having also owned Babylon) came centuries after the Roman Empire, the fourth kingdom (that's why the legs are long, unlike the rest of the body).
The link you provide tells that the emblem of Babylon is a lion with eagle's wings. They don't show it for it doesn't exist the way it is described in Dan 7. Besides, it doesn't explain how and why the eagle's wings are torn off the lion, and why Daniel says he watched until these wings were torn off. Because they have no explanation to offer.
Did you read the explanation for the bear? Really poor! Why does the bear represents Media and Persia?
And the leopard has nothing to do with logic nor history.
The lion would come from a symbol (not even close to a real symbol), the bear from the width (of their shoulders?) of the Medians and Persians, and the leopard from the speed of an army to move. No logic, no unity, no nothing. Needless to say that many details are missing in these so-called 'explanations'.
What about the fourth beast? The only thing that defines it is its 10 horns / 10 kings defined as 10 European Nations! Almost all republics without kings, while the prophecies are clear about that: 10 kings! Which nations? At what moment? Europe is now still 28, soon 27. There was only five years when EU was with 10 countries only, between 1981 and 1986. How do we pass from the Roman Empire, gone in the fourth century, to EU in the 20th century? So, a really weak interpretation.
As you see, you broke nothing, actually. I will go on with my answer later. Thanks for your patience.
