U.S. to recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital

Ethnic cleansing.. U.S as a strong backer of Israel is responsible aswell. The evicted palestinians should be welcomed with open
arms in the states.. Or is the plan to send them up north to Scandinavia ??

We received plenty of Irakies after the cowboys showdown in the gulf.
Well, it is like this.

50 years ago Palestinians could have had the whole West Bank if they stopped attacking Isreal and gave up the right of return.

The right of return is insane. The US and Europe have proven that willing admitting terrorists into your country is stupid.

At this point few Palestinians ever lived in Israel and within 20 years the number will be zero.

The Palestinians made demands that, from the Israeli standpoint, were not negotiable.

The Israelis knew time was on their side and simply changed the facts on the ground while the Palestinians dithered.

At this point it is too late to salvage the situation. Time has made Israel the winner, get over it and move on to another problem.

As should be noted my favorite solution is to push them both into the sea and start over from scratch.

But if people don't want to implement a sensible solution, then they should recognize reality, that the Israelis won.

I think the problem originates back in 1947. Giving them this piece of land. Why not hand out a patch of land in the interiors of Canada, Greenland or Australia.

Lots of unused unpopulated land there. Sensible governments who would treat them fairly

Because of one thing, Jerusalem...

Well...

The last time I looked the Palestinians have killed more rhan 10x as many of rheir people by military force, terrorism, or reprisals, what I call persuasion by force, than "Da Joos".

If Palestinians think persuasion by force is ok, therw is no reason to condemn the Jews for using peruasion by force against Palestinians.

The Palestinians have given the "green light" to using persuasion by force against Palestinians.

Condemning the Jews but not the Palestinians is just RACIST.

Trump sure knows how to say "f*** off" politely.

I agree with him, I haven't been satisfied with the UN's actions and behaviour for many years, it's increasingly becoming rogue and influenced by undesirable coalitions...

I say tell the UN to find another continent to host them, not in New York anymore, kick them all out...

Charles M. Lichenstein the deputy UN ambassador said it first and said it best:

Charles M. Lichenstein, 75, American Envoy at the U.N.

But the Soviets refused. When the United Nations committee met to review the situation, the Soviet delegate, Igor I. Yakovlev, said the ban on landing ''raises the question of whether the United Nations should be in the United States.''

A furious Mr. Lichenstein replied that if member states felt ''they are not being treated with the hostly consideration that is their due,'' they should consider ''removing themselves and this organization from the soil of the United States.''

''We will put no impediment in your way,'' he continued, ''The members of the U.S. mission to the United Nations will be down at the dockside waving you a fond farewell as you sail off into the sunset.''

Just one thought,, why did Trump initiate this moving process to begin with ? Whats his gain from doin this?
Seems like hes created more problems than he bargained for..

Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. That is reality.

The only reason the US hasn't moved already is the US State Department is a bunch of progressive tools, and dull ones at that. The State Department staff hates Trump because they are incompetent and he is not.

He should fire them and start over. After all the failures of the Obama administration and some left over problems from the Bush administration that Trump is cleaning up there really aren't any successes of the State Department to point to this century. I believe they deliberately screwed up Iraq (Bremer was really a creature of the state department, he focused on changing their banking system instead of maintaining Iraq internal security). They created a Ukraine civil war, other failures were Libya, Egypt, Benghazi, Iran, North Korea, etc. the failure list is endless.

Trump hasn't created any significant problems with his decision. The commentary in US news is the reaction is a lot more muted than they thought it would be.

I agree, and you left out a couple of decades of serious ***t before that.. But yup.

Oh so its not a problem as long as the palestinians receive little genuine support in the arab world ?
OK, lets ignore the UN vote aswell then, since US dont really give a damn about the UN anyways..

So yeah, Trump is in the clear.. Blue skies and the sun is shining

The Palestinians should have been getting assistance from the Arab league for years, they seem not to give a hoot either except blow smoke when Israel does something they want to gripe about...

And a little afternoon delight...:D

Trump needs to focus on one thing, and that thing is North Korea. Hes a good match for a rumble with Kim.
The rest of the world is better of left alone, during the rest of his presidency.

Never heard that song before. Its the 20th sexiest song acc. to billboard. It gets better the more I listen..

Yup that's right.

When the Palestinians went to terrorism they lost my sympathy. I don't care which hell either side rots in, I just want the problem solved.

As far as the UN is concerned, they don't care about US so it is pointless to care about them. The average US citizen can identify perhaps a dozen countries on a map of the world and that is usually more than enough.

The American opinion of the UN captured in an iconic quote:
''The members of the U.S. mission to the United Nations will be down at the dockside waving you a fond farewell as you sail off into the sunset.''

So yeah, Trump is in the clear.. Blue skies and the sun is shining
Precisely correct. A cogent analysis.
