Cool here and 4 degrees C with a cold front moving in from Antarctica, had hail yesterday and snow down to 700 metres , this will last for the rest of the week luckily the max temp is 14 C. ( 57.2 F)

That sounds so weird hearing you talk about a cold front from Antarctica. It must pack a mean punch! Here on the US east coast when cold weather is coming they usually talk about the lake effect from the great lakes.

Yes an Antarctic cold front ( called an Antarctic Blast) can just ruin a hot summer day just like that. This is one of them , we are under the clouds.

Coldest for me was -38 C or - 36.4 F ( Funny C & F seem to meet there ) when skiing up north.
My car did start in the morning but the gearbox wouldnt go into Drive until 5 mins later.. cold oil
