He just needs to head on down to the unemployment office.
UAPwatchdog, amen.
It makes no sense to me either. I feel he must be misrepresenting things to convey a sense of pressure and urgency that might motivate people to give him money.
Anyway, sorry, TL;DR: I 100% agree something doesn't add up here at all, I think it's all about manipulating people to get cash out of them, but it could be Gene's thinking and priorities really are that disordered.
And yet, with the multiple impending deadlines and the crisis reaching epic proportions this was his priority Thursday afternoon. Recording an episode of his Gold Standard podcast.
Last Minute: Ecker and Murphy!
I also want to touch on the "story" of his deceased brother Stephen. heres what ive found as posted by another at Jack Brewers site
Stephen ran a company called numis gems - which specialized in coins and sports memorabilia. In 2004, he pled guilty to selling unregistered securities (in exchange for dropping 13 counts of theft and fraud). Soon after, the copyright on Stephen's site changed from Numis Gems, Inc. to Gene's Making the Impossible, Inc.
BREAKING NEWS: THE TRUTH BEHIND NUMIS GEMS AND GENE STEINBERG
Gene was listed as the Agent/Director/Officer for Numis Gems, Inc. He was more involved in his brother in-laws failed, illegal business venture than we thought. He was an OWNER of it. Go back through this thread and you will see reference to the infamous lawsuit (that Gene says left him destitute and the reason why he has been begging for 12 years to his Paracast list). Gene's brother in law (who died) was selling illegal securities. A stock scam. Supposedly, the lawsuit is what started the whole financial downfall and sucked all his retirement funds. Follow the breadcrumbs. There's more to this story. Another con job Gene was involved with. It never ends!!!

Now i have agonized about posting what i post next, i consider it bad form to re-post PM's. Ive had to weigh up the pro's and con's (it would be funny if it wasn't so serious)
Posting this damages my reputation and i do it with great reluctance, but if it helps one person avoid getting conned out of their hard earned cash........
He not only wants the money he lost, but interest on it as well, and he didnt even offer to throw in the paracast for that sort of payment.
Do not give this person any money........................... He has options but would rather take other peoples money instead.
And thats not counting the money he stole from landlords
Note that Gene Steinberg has 7 judgments, or more, entered against him, just in Arizona totaling almost $50,000. These don't even include eviction orders, which probably puts his total judgment count up to around a dozen or so:
CV1996-018304 Steinberg, Eugene - DOB: N/A - $4,280.48
CV1994-009488 Steinberg, Gene - DOB: N/A - $1,642.67
CV2001-019951 Steinberg, Gene - DOB: N/A - no amount listed

Gene, i know you scan these threads.
Your choices are twofold:
Get your wish and die in your sleep tonight, leaving barbara unable to fend for herself after surgery in some sleazy motel with the rent paid for a few days.
Or be a man and go to a nursing home. If you do die there instead of tonight in a motel, at least you know she will be taken care of.
Do you really want her to wake up in some sleazy motel and have to bury you and fend for herself while recovering ?
All we are hearing is a selfish narrative that shows no compassion for her well being going forward.
You have never been a forward planner, or you wouldn't be in this mess. At the very end do it now for her sakes.
You say she doesn't want to go into a nursing home, but she will if you die in your sleep tonight.
So factor that reality into you choices today, do the right thing by her. Set her up in a home and then you can expire at will or otherwise.
Put her first for once Gene.
Hmmm, the graphic you posted of the PMs is not loading for me, so I cannot see that, but otherwise... all very sobering stuff. I wish his cheerleaders on Facebook were aware of all this. If they know all this and still choose to enable him, well, so be it, but I imagine most are uninformed.
You told me you are very rich, so this shouldn’t be much of a deal. The $200,000 I gave Stephen through 2004 is, today, worth $267,524.69. If you send me that amount, I’ll be able to supplement my income and have a life for a number of years for myself and Barbara. We won’t have to ask for donations, and I’ll have the resources to deal with the stalkers who are left.
How about it?
.Then I can go to the nursing home when I’m good and ready
Medicare will pay for around 100 days of an actual nursing home, where people physically cannot get around. Depending on other plans and health, those things can change, but I can say it's not what he thinks it is, or mentions in jest.
I've never seen someone so entitled who does so little for the paycheck he gets that he can at least get in the ballpark of survival with
Yes, but my understanding is medicaid will pay for one.
Top 50 Nursing Homes That Accept Medicaid In Arizona
He knows that at his age he qualify s for this, so im flabbergasted that his death wish thoughts would prefer he saw his wife Too ill to look after herself, wake up in a motel, with no money to pay for any extra stay, rather than a nursing home, where someone will help her in the event he dies in his sleep.
Medicaid has nothing to do with age, like Medicare. I don't know if he said previously he was on Medicaid, but Medicaid is for people in poverty. You have to make up to 133% of the poverty line and prove income with CMS to be eligible. Medicare is for anyone age 65 or above. It's possible to be on both (dual eligibility), but I've never heard him mention this.
I'll copy the text direct.

You told me you are very rich, so this shouldn’t be much of a deal. (Rich people don't stay that way being stupid.) The $200,000 I gave Stephen (Oh bullshit.) through 2004 is, today, worth $267,524.69. (How about that brass?) If you send me that amount, I’ll be able to supplement my income and have a life for a number of years for myself and Barbara. We won’t have to ask for donations, (but there is no way I'll stop begging until I'm dead) and I’ll have the resources to complain very loudly about my critics.
There, I fixed it. Really, that is some seriously fucked up shit right there. The guy's just batshit crazy.
