In mind I look at Oct 7 as the final straw. Even pretending that the previous 100 years of hostilities didn't exist, what happened on Oct 7 made Nentenyahu snap and say "enough is enough" and go all in on this war. Hamas are terroristic cockroaches that actually enjoy & thrive on killing, dismembering women, children, raping, dragging corpses through the street, little children to grown men firing AK-47's into the sky for celebration, killing with smiles on their faces etc. etc.
The tit-for-tat responses accomplish nothing much like the U.S. & U.K.'s navy's accomplish nothing near the Red Sea. They need to shoot the archer - not the arrow. Hamas could have ended the entire thing in one day if they released the hostages. But at this point Israel is like "hostages or no hostages - we're stopping. You do not have any bargaining chips. You are a terror organization backed by Iran - you have no legitimate government or armed forces. And we are not shaking hands & making peace. Iran & Hamas' goal is to wipe out Israel. I also like how no Arab state will take the Palestanian's - what does that say? If you're all the same people/religion - let them come into your country.
Now Israel has to go door to door looking for cockroach terrorists & eliminate them. There should be world wide outrage that they use hospitals & schools as headquarters. Rockets & weapons stuffed in or behind MRI machines. This is extreme to say but if I was Israel I would have (soon after Oct 7) dropped leaflets saying that you have 48 hours to get out of Gaza & whether you are gone or not, tactical nuclear weapons are going to be dropped. We do not have the time or resources to conduct a building to building, door to door, checking thousands of tunnels etc. to get rid of Hamas. We also know that no matter what, a two state solution will never happen. Not when one side are terrorists on motorcycles & paragliders killing with glee and whos credo is to kill Israel & the U.S.
There would be a chance if you had two valid governments saying "Ok, this is ridiculous - lets make peace". But unfortunately one side brainwashes their new-borns all through childhood to hate & kill Jews. That's why you can watch videos of 5-6 year olds acting out scenes (practicing) how to ambush a Jewish person and stab them in the right places to kill them.
Israel knows that if they end what they're doing now it would just mean in a matter of days or weeks headlines of "Rockets fired into Israel.". Iran needs to be punished so that their pain rolls downhill to their little gangster/terror klans that they fund. But good thing we gave Iran $6 billion dollars. And it's a shame that we have some of the most advanced weapons & delivery systems in the world but are afraid to use them against Iran & the Houthis. They know Biden is a wimp/pushover so they just keep attacking ships & warships with impunity. A bunch of guys running around with dresses & sandals are causing major disruption of global shipping and we just there doing nothing. Again, don't shoot the arrow - shoot the archers. Quit being so afraid of what the world thinks.
