I will be honest. if I had the time money and tech savvy I would buy the show and arcives.
Maybe get someone who is,a awesome tech wizard to host. But alas with 5 kids cash is hard to come by. .

Not just that. I tried to help raise money for him initially and defended him to others. I feel like I was assisting a conman and that gripes me more than the money I lost. If I am a fool with my money that is one thing (and I can get over it) but if I'm helping someone rip off others that is what really hurts me. I believed him and I trusted him and he used me just like he does with everyone else.

Podcasting is just not a lucrative hobby. You have the odd exceptional person who can make living from it but it requires being both very good and a hell of a lot of luck. There are many really great podcasts that never got going simply because they didn't have the latter.

Also for the thousandth time he is explaining how staying at a motel works. He is the only person in the world who is surprised by this every day.
Lol a new crisis! Paypal was negative, now the bank is negative. Also how can you have an "unexpected" autopay? It is not an autopay if it is unexpected - autopays are for regular things which you subscribe to - sounds like Gene is lying again.
Maybe Gene went to an expensive restaurant and tried to weasel out of the bill. Or he just went out and bought something which he couldn't afford (a common occurrence for him). Now he has to pay for it and pretends that it was unexpected.
Or maybe the motel made him pay a deposit due to his (no doubt) constant attempts to weasel out of paying, he missed paying on time and they just deducted it from his bank. Some hotels do this.
Bit of a continuity problem. He has gone back to talking about how motels work. Maybe his mind is degenerating now after watching all that trash TV. He can't follow a single train of thought.
What? Paying your rent when you are staying in a motel and get more than enough in Social Security for sitting on your backside is a huge juggling match? I think the actual problem is that he has to pay rent on time in the motel and that prevents him from wasting as much of his SS check as he would like. Those new Apple products are just aching to be bought but Gene can't get them.
Continuing that same bullshit as before. There is no false dispute. Any dispute (if it exists) is entirely legitimate, it is not his money in that case and he is never getting it back. Also that black hole is of his own making.
Lol. Who will cover the deficit Gene? We know the dispute will never be resolved in your favour. The person making the dispute just have to point Paypal to all the places on the internet where your shenanigans are detailed. Of course what he wants is for all of us to "cover the deficit" since we all "owe" him for him simply existing.

I'm rather skeptical Gene would enroll in autopay. He seems more the type to pay the bills late, if at all. Perhaps it was unavoidable? (Netflix?) The idea he doesn't micromanage his finances though still seems dubious to me.
I wonder how 'key' a source of income PayPal is for him, begging money aside. Monthly subscriptions to the Paracast perhaps...?
And where is Anders with this new site that is going to free Gene from the need to ask for donations? Gene, filling in the hole you've dug with PayPal is another way to solve the problem, vs. waiting on a settlement in your favor that could never come. If any of this is true.
I think anyone would be taking a huge risk to do business with Gene Steinberg on the level of purchasing a podcast from him. There is so much evidence of him being dishonest, and possibly even delusional. Then it also seems clear he has no concept of how a normal business deal might work, or the considerations that should go into selling something like a podcast. If you have any clue how he operates, how could you ever trust this guy? It doesn't seem worth it to me. But if he could ever 'cash out' somehow it would likely for the best. He's driven off a cliff and still has the pedal to the metal, expecting to fly.
If he were to sell both his podcasts, I would imagine that would be the end of his e-begging. And yet how could it be? Could he even stop himself? We'll probably never know. If he does stop, I guess then we'll never hear how an online hate pack of stalkers, hackers and criminals drove him out of business and reduced him to poverty.

I was undecided whether to to bring this up or not but Steinberg pisses me off so much lately. When I was banned from the Paracast some weeks ago Steinberg sent me an email. It went into my Spam mail and I didn’t see it until yesterday. Because he berated me I replied back to him. The bottom line, the man is totally delusional. He blames websites like the UFO Trail and AE for all his problems in life. That’s right, he had nothing to do with his financial woes.
The words that were used were “lying and cheating trolls.” The same phrase he has used all along. I can tell you he is furious about the photo of him in a casino. Even though he wasn’t officially gambling, everyone is now picking on poor Gene. I believe he is mad that that photo leaked out to the general public. It must be impacting on his begging habits.
Finally, I can tell you from what he wrote in his emails is that he reads the various websites that criticize him constantly. It must be like a sore tooth that never heals. I did blast him telling him to get a real paying job and quit begging others. You can imagine how far I got with that. Anyway, I can tell you that his situation has gotten worse. It’s problem the reason he is trying to pass off his worthless website onto some unsuspecting soul.

Very interesting. If the spotlight on his activities is having an effect that he doesn't like, well, good. Did he seriously think he'd be able to beg his way all through his 'golden years'? Leasing nice cars, eating every meal out, buying the latest technology, all on the money of caring people who believed his sob stories and thought they were saving him from a temporary rough patch?
One of the more troubling things about Gene is the thought he might really not see any problem with his begging, or understand that quite naturally 10+ years of such begging would exhaust the population of potential donors.
I get that in his begging emails he has to frame himself as the put upon victim and his critics (or those who even dare question him) as criminals, hackers, stalkers, and so on.
But the thought that he might really believe his own bullshit, that's a little scary. I mean there's lying, there's being wrong and then there's just being delusional. More and more I wonder if Gene hasn't passed from the first two categories to the latter.
Still, my assessment has been that in Gene's world he's never wrong and nothing is ever his fault. If the merry donation train has finally run out of steam, if he is approaching rock bottom at last, well that can't be because Gene made such poor use of his available resources. Gene lazy or foolish? Certainly not. And it isn't that was a serial abuser of his audience's goodwill. Also it couldn't be that simply telling the truth about the business practices of Gene and his associates turned people's stomachs. There has to be someone else he can blame. He is the victim. And he needs your help. Just, not by PayPal right now. Western Union, MoneyGram, or Facebook Messenger, please.

Steinberg is the first con man I have come across that has absolutely zero charm or ability to socially manage people. He has absolutely no people skills and can't even seem to control himself sufficiently to make his own grifting more effective. He constantly shoots himself in the foot and yet still maintains the delusion that with such poor skills scamming is a good career choice. It is like a blind man trying to become a racing driver and being shocked when he doesn't do well.
