So he is selling something that is completely worthless. Who wants a third rate tech podcast archive that was run by a guy who clearly has about as much tech knowledge as the average grandpa who only buys apple products? It is worth less than zero - If it was anyone else I would think he was making a joke but we all know that Gene has no sense of humour.

I wonder what Steinberg thinks the Tech Night Owl Live is worth? I mean, it has no value whatsoever but I am betting that Steinberg thinks he will make a fortune by selling it. Boy, is he in for a rude awakening.

Of course. The one thing we know is that if Gene makes a deal, the person on the other end will get screwed because Gene can't be expected to behave honestly.

He could well sell the Tech Night Owl name (which means nothing) and start a new crappy tech podcast and try to poach the old listeners using the newsletter/subscriber list, not only that as DNS says he will keep using it for begging too.

Once he has anyone's contact information he uses it to beg forever - even if they ask to be removed, he takes them off for a while then adds them back on. I had to block him on FB for the same reason, because he kept pestering me with begging messages.

Recently he has also started using dormant email lists he had - like the Rockoids list (yes hard to believe anyone subscribed to that but it was on Twitter) to beg people.

Gene has no shame, no honour and no care for the law either (shown by his behaviour throughout the years).

He will say one thing then do another when it suits him.

Anyone buying the TNOL would have to be completely ignorant of how pathetic and worthless it is as a show and completely ignorant of the shameless scammer they are dealing with. I pity anyone who is that stupid.

You might have noticed that he didn’t try to sell his jewel in the crown, the Paracast. He wants to sit on all those member’s emails from the Paracast. He can also hit up his guests for money if he has his paranormal/ufo website. I doubt he would get any real money for either of those sites. He also must be desperate to even think of selling.

No matter what he does, you can bet he is scheming to sell and then start another tech site. The problem is, who want to buy episodes where Steinberg is talking about his favorite superhero TV shows and movies? I doubt anyone is that stupid.

I think Gene's new found desperation may have a lot to do with the fact that the new iPhone has been out for over a week and he doesn't have it yet.

He us not like the rest of us "peasants" who can get by with a phone or a car that is a couple of years (or more) old. He goes particularly crazy for anything Apple related.

I think there is a new Apple watch out too - so no wonder he is getting annoyed that people aren't sending enough money - so many gadgets to buy, so little money.

When he moves to his next luxury gated community you don't expect him to roll up in a two year old car, last year's iPhone and last year's watch do you?

How will he impress the hot grannies with that?

I'd be curious to see what would happen in this scenario; someone electronically zaps $10,000 into his account. Would these daily "crisis" emails come to a screeching halt? Or would there STILL be some type of debacle he's involved with that would still require people to send him $?

Mike who used to be a moderator on the forums offered Gene a decent price for the Paracast.Gene wouldn’t sell but tried to get Mike to invest in the show instead.So I assumed Gene wasn’t as desperate for cash as he made out!.

He’s just obnoxious,never considers another persons opinion,never admits he’s wrong.Cant go more than 5 minutes without letting everyone know he was a cop.I said on a thread that I wasn’t interested in his Doesn’t Matter (Dark matters) show and he threatened to ban me.I also upset him by saying it was wrong that I couldn’t block him as he’s a moderator.Moderators can be arseholes as easily as anyone else and having to read the tripe he posted was painful.

Ecker loves to hold a grudge. Bill Cooper upset him once and Ecker can't let it go. Cooper died in 2001 and Ecker is still bitching about how Cooper wronged him.
