q36Tryin not to panic, telling myself its kinda like when the flu started 100 years ago, but them weren`t good times either so.. I`m just worried for my wife and her weak immune system and copd and all, hate to think, but i`ve come close to loosing her 3 times in the last couple of years due to it all already, now this. I got to stay calm for her sake, even though she won`t say. i know shes scared more than ever.
As a person who has not been handling stress well lately, I have found that staying busy is the key to dealing with stress.
It's okay to think about it. But I've been panicking, The truth is, Panic isn't logical, In fact, It's just a self-imposed punishment. As it serves no purpose other than to burden one. Be wise, Be alert, Be careful. But Panic, Serves no one.

I keep telling myself that. And, The staying busy part does help a lot.

Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak claims he and his wife may have been 'patient zero' in the U.S. for coronavirus after suffering a cough since returning from China two months ago... but wife says it's just a sinus infection

Steve Wozniak sparked speculation that he may have been 'patient zero' for coronavirus by tweeting on Monday that his wife Janet had been suffering a bad cough for two months after the couple returned from a trip to China . 'Checking out Janet's bad cough. Started Jan. 4. We had just returned from China and may have both been patient zero in U.S.,' the 69-year-old wrote on a check-in on the Swarm app which was then cross-posted to Twitter. But his wife quickly quashed any suspicions, telling USA TODAY that her cough was actually due to a sinus infection.

Keep her safe coubob and I hope you manage to do so. It is those who have preexisting conditions that I worry for, the young seem ok which is different than the big one and a good thing. Don't be fooled by the naming of that one as Spanish, it came from China.

I have my fingers crossed for your Mrs.

Globally I think we should name these viruses as the China flu and just maybe the shame would get to places without rubbing there noses in it.

Nah, This is something a little different. People are comparing it to the 1920's influenza scare.

And this is scary, But I've been thinking, How much of this scare is the media? I mean I know people are dying, However, 800,000 people per year die of heart attacks alone, Just in the U.S annually, Over three thousand have died of the Corona Virus.

Random Statistic, 7,452 people die in the U.S every day, An analytic that can be seen here How many people die a day in the US? | IndexMundi Blog.

95,000 died in 2018 worldwide from the flu.. Analytic found here https://www.washingtonpost.com/heal...a15166-4444-11ea-b5fc-eefa848cde99_story.html

Analytically, This Coronavirus is so scary because It's new and we don't know a lot about it. But It's death toll, truthfully is nearly nothing compared to Everything else that's killing us. This Fear people have of the coronavirus, It's because we have Pandemics drilled into our skulls from Movies like Outbreak and the media swearing the Next Deadly thing is just around the corner. Think about it, Before This, It was the Flu season, Before that It was The Vaping illness. The media is sensationalizing Fear, We can make estimations as to why. More Ratings? Possibly? People will surely watch the news if they think their lives depend on it.
If you stop and think rationally about this. The Media does a pretty good job of keeping people panicked, It's always something. Analytically, Statistically, And Death toll wise, The numbers say this coronavirus is just a new version of serious flu. It's just a new bug that's going around, And it's really no more dealy than Viruses we already have going around.

The news seems to like to keep people terrified. It works..

I reckon I will get it I have to say I'm not too worried but if the numbers explode like they did with the first in 1918 catastrophe then we got a problem.

Something that has irked me greatly this morning is a change of tune here in the UK of our health minister and his new recommendation that not attending large functions or gatherings will not help in efforts to contain the spread. Money obviously is the culprit as the markets are down and it is this u turn of common sense that grinds my gears to near sparks. It is obvious that time is at play here and the less who contract it gives rise to more being clear for the vaccination when ready. The worry that comes from that u turn is maybe an admittance to a fact that this one is past control and inevitably will effect huge numbers or it really is the fact that money dictates our decisions even when facing such an outbreak.

The media has fueled a panic and I can see why but then to relax in such a fasion has one of the two reasons behind it or probably a bit of both but neither make me proud to be human.

It's hard to rationalize, I myself have had a few panic attacks over this. It's not that I'm not worried, I am, But, The fear and panic, It does nothing but bring misery to ice the cake with. I'm gonna try my best not to worry, None of us are promised tomorrow anyway. We live each day with the uncertainty of death. Do we not?

I know all too well first hand what high grade weed can manifest in terms of irrational fear and I laugh every time I think of it, because I've seen it and been it and I had one or as near is I have been to one not long back.

The sudden dawning while on site that I wasn't sure if I had bought enough paint to finish a job had me guzzling water and swearing to myself repeatedly as if telling myself off was a way out. I had enough though but in its peak my mind was out of control and entered an irrational state. It was hard graft and that single rush of panic destroyed my energy and it took a lump out me to finish it, usually a walk in the park but that night will haunt me for what it did to me. The fumes of the primer were incredible and definately effected my equilibrium.

Resigned to fate of a handful of days unwell is nothing but if I were ill and old I would certainly be concerned and it's those who we must watch out for.

The levels the media will go to are still unknown as we haven't gotten low enough to call it. Our viral platforms that are used to spread the word do conjure an almost expected culling. We should have or at least I wish we learnt to walk better before we started to run.

Many perverse conditions have arisen since our super connected state and as one ages it can be understood as just getting older by the aging but for sure, the net has us with more doubt and woe in a very short time.

We didn't chew it properly because we were so hungry.

I know things seem grim right now, But Consider, Cases can be mild and the majority of people do pull through this, Try to see any positives to this situation you can., People need positivity right now. Cause this thing is spreading everywhere. It will be in Kentucky by the end of the week I imagine.
