Don't think he's ever said he would sell the Paracast though (unless it is a new thing) -only the TNOL. I think he tried to get other people to invest in the Paracast though - like that Mike fellow but nobody in their right mind would invest in something without seeing the books.
Frankly I don't think Gene would ever be able to let the Paracast go because he sees it as some kind of golden ticket.
Also Chris believed that he was an equal partner but I'm not 100% sure of the legalities of it particularly if they didn't make a written contract. In that case it would be his word against Gene's word. I know who I would believe but a court may see it differently.
It's a moot point anyway since I don't think Chris has any intention of ever pursuing it. He just wants to get as far away from Gene and his toxic behaviour as possible.

It appears to me Gene is making his forum look more active by digging up some old accounts and bringing them on as if they each had recently logged in...It's akin to setting up cardboard silhouettes to give the appearance of more people in a room from an outside window lol...Q did this before on his forum to make it look more active when his numbers dropped...

I pointed out earlier in the thread that Randall was doing something similar and making inane comments in the hope someone would respond.Yesterday was my birthday,the Paracast flags birthdays.There were 7 others flagged for the 5th.Out of curiosity I clicked on each one,the most recent comment from those members was 2014!.

There is an “Out There” podcast but it is about the outdoors. Chris O’Brien has nothing to do with it. I searched on “Out There”...nada. I find that since O’Brien left the Paracast, news of his activities has been almost zero. If he wants listeners or supporters he is going about it the wrong way.

I would love to know the true number of members for the Paracast. As you say, if you click on those birthday icons the bulk of those people haven’t posted in years. Steinberg has created this false illusion that his website’s activity is high when it couldn’t be further from the truth.

Every one of them logged on now haven't for years and each one looking at their own profiles many have never posted and could even be sock puppets...Q did this same thing on AlienHub before it died to make it look like a lot people were actually there, he created loads of sock puppets and also logged in people who haven't visited the forum in years...Xenforo leaves that ability open to admins and they shouldn't allow that in the software...
