Bad timing, don’t you think? It’s late Friday afternoon and the motel management gives you the boot for nonpayment. All those people gave you suggestions to get your life in order and you ignored every last one of them. Oh well, how hot or cold does it get in the evenings in Arizona this time of year anyway?

What a load of bullshit. In another of his emergency crisis catastrophe messages today, he again referred to saving money for an apartment. He's probably still mooching off his sister in law and just using this sad story line for begging purposes. Putz.

It's a weird kind of interactive story - a choose your own adventure for the modern day, except in this one the story is so preposterous that it makes dragons and wizards and the like seem plausible.

I just don’t believe him. His next email won’t say they had to spend the night in their car. It will say a generous friend paid for the motel for him. And then there will be another crisis since as you may have heard motels expect to be paid for each night a guest stays there.

The text of his latest makes no sense to me... it includes:

It’s Saturday morning in Arizona, and the motel front office said prepare to pack if we can’t pay. They let stay the night. But we have just a few hours left before we’ll be forced out.
I need a few hundred dollars to stay here.
I also have to send the overdue payment to the storage facility so they'll keep our stuff there.
Can you help with part of it via PayPal?
We are really getting closer to resolving all this. I know this has gone on too long, but that’s the case."
Just, nothing there quite adds up for me.
The motel let you spend a free night? But now you owe them "a few hundred dollars"? That's hundreds now for two nights or for what? I don't get it. I thought the motel was overbooked and you had to leave Monday anyway. And didn't you already send an email yesterday afternoon claiming you had to pack up and get out if you couldn't pay? ("Wolf! Wolf! Wolf!")
And then that last bit makes the least sense of all: despite this being serious, a multiple emails in a day emergency, "We are really getting closer to resolving all this." Ummm... how could that be true? If you can't even pay for a couple nights in a motel, how is it remotely possible you're anywhere near close to some real resolution? I don't think you even know what 'resolved' would look like any longer.

1. the hotel sold out. Gene was about to be tossed out. he talked them into letting them stay till monday..
2. gene is at least 3 days behind on paying. the hotel wants them gone.
he needs to pay now to stay.
2 evictions
3 hotels.
this is beyond ludicrous.
I don't normally go here but I see no other good way.

A hotel/motel does not let you get behind on paying. You pay or you are out. Schemey's stories always have major contradictions in them because he is too lazy to compare his messages with old ones for consistency and also because he is a moron.
