A slight derail but i have to admit that im kind of curious as to how exactly Gene would hit up guests for money. Did he ask for money outright during breaks or would he tell his tale of woe hinting that he needed money ?

Nice to see that Mr.Biedny has responded in here. I do hope, like Dr. Vallee, he will return to an active role in the ufo field - although I see clearly that it won't be via the Paracast.
I must say that personally I've received no begging emails, nor have there been any direct solicitations on any of the episodes that I've listened to and I just fast forward through the ads, not interested in tacky merchandise . I've really enjoyed some of the old archived shows - but can see the absolute contrast with the current offerings. But it's free
It's such a shame that all of this quite distasteful panhandling seems to be going on in "clear view" outside the domain of the podcast/forum itself. All of the quite lurid revelations in here, and now much more visibly on the internet generally, surely destroys all credibility and will doubtless put off potential guests of any quality/credibility (who surely do their due diligence before accepting an invitation). I've been a bit blinkered myself !

This is a bit more than simple panhandling, Gene's deceptions and scams go back over 10 years, this forum is among a few sites adding to the public awareness and hopefully more people will know the truth and less people give their money to this conman...

I don't believe he solicits cash from listeners during the shows. That's all - I think - done via email appeals and the occasional fundraising campaign, such as the Facebook fundraiser he did last year. Someone correct me if I am wrong please. My sense from afar is he likes to seem above it all on his shows, but then has a secret identity that he exercises 'off the air'. That's when he's a man in need of just a little cash to get past this latest crisis that has come upon him through no fault of his own. Constantly, without end. Of course the identity isn't secret at all in that far fewer people might have reason to care if he weren't also the host of a podcast they like.

it's not just the begging. it's the LIES.
Back in March/April last year he claimed someone hacked his back account and he was drained of money.
according to him it took weeks to get his money back this is a lie!
see I was robbed in August 2017.
the bank restored my funds the thieves took within 24 hours via by debit card
my credit cards restored funds within 48 hours.
his bank has similar policies I checked.
it's his involvement with the Fraud of his BIL.
it's the fact he claimed he never lived in luxury but he lived in the desert marage..a luxury apartment.
I could go on..
Gene is a liar..
one last thing his own son moved to Spain to get away from him.
that speaks volumes.

He fleeced one poor fellow for $44K dollars in an emergency "loan" - didn't pay back a penny and then he got that loan quashed in bankruptcy court. If that isn't bad enough for you read up on what he helped his brother in law do.

A bit late but welcome.
I read what you've written over there and agree with your general take on things. Also feel a bit sad at how things seem to be turning out for the Paracast. As I've said before this is a group of people who share common interests and could have been the best supporters for the show but our input is edited, monitored and apparently unwelcome. You don't have a problem until you do, which was my experience.
To be fair I joined several years ago and quit because I did get inundated with begging emails but that may have been me simply checking a box somewhere in the profile that couldn't seem to be unchecked. I did rejoin a year or so ago and wasn't bothered by the emails but did manage to get put on a 'discourage' list for some innocuous comment I made in a thread that irritated Gene - especially as a paying P+ member. Gene and Randall's responses were disingenuous and it really turned me off. I found AE the same way you did and enjoy the forum and the fact that it is administered intelligently with a light touch.
The one more recent episode in the catalog I could recommend was the interview with Richard Doty - just to hear the story from the man directly. I thought he was just peddling horseshit, but like the interview.

Gene is always looking to "boost" cash flow by doing everything exactly the same - I can't imagine why it doesn't work.
- Gene imaginary ride sharing doesn't make any money.
Even if you were really doing it and it wasn't paying enough for you to survive the answer is to get rid of the car and try a different job. Of course we all know that it's a lie so you can hold on to a car you don't need.
Why does someone who begs on a daily basis have a more expensive car than most of the people he is begging from? You can't afford $700 a month on a vehicle if you are homeless - you must be the first person in history who is too stupid to realise that.

in June 10th he was evicted from the luxury desert mirage.
the eviction from the desert marage was documented on SGRC and UFO trail. Gene moved in to the place in April. the eviction showed he owed them around $3394.
this amount reflects 3 months rent at 1100 a month.
around 75 in late fee and 20 security deposit for owning a dog.
so Gene lived in luxury for 3 months..without paying a penny .
Two ,Gene bought a luxury KIA. on the very day he was on a KIA fourms bragging about the car He sent a begging email about an immediate eviction.
This is known as the "KIA event"
I won't go into the merry chase where he dug in a ball pit at McDonald's for a payday.

Despite it all, "...so I can get off this train and have a life" makes me a little sad.
Not that I don't think he doesn't exaggerate things to try to persuade people to send him money, and paint things as worse than they are.
Just that, he has a life, and this is it.
Probably we're not seeing his life exactly as it is, rather how he portrays it for sympathy, but if he really feels like he can't "have a life" until, what, he is back in Desert Mirage grade quarters, then he is never going to "get off this train". If he truly wants to change. Perhaps it's a death or glory mentality; I'll keep scraping by on my terms OR I'll hit it big finally through a great windfall.
