That said there have been a couple of new Sporty Kias that have had excellent reviews in the car magazines. They are not cheap though which used to be the main attraction of Kias. If you are paying that much money why not buy a more established brand?

One forum used to have a following but doesn't really now because they were were turned off for some reason. Another forum has group of people free to engage in whatever they want, who do.

Eh, I can believe there is an Anders in Denmark who listened to the Paracast and wanted to help Gene. I'm not going to argue with anyone who doubts it but I think it's possible. I don't think it really changes anything I already understand about Gene if Anders is "real". If Anders is fake and is Gene, J. Randall Murphy (seems beneath him?) or some other Gene buddy, that's pretty sad. I'm not going to lose any sleep wondering.

Trust me, I have seen the backends of The Paracast & Tech Night Owl including the stores
and the banner ads/clicks... Unless Gene earns cash on his books (that CAN'T be much!) there's no way for him to be
making any serious money, nor even just a tiny bit of money.
The products were not good, it's incredibly hard to sign up at Paracast+ so it has almost no conversions.
Requires MANY paying members just to get a little money from it...
To me, from getting a good glimpse behind the scenes, it makes absolutely perfect sense that Gene is completely and utterly BROKE, UNLESS he has not disclosed any lucrative income stream, which I'm currently not aware of.
The structure of our relationship is conducted in a way, so I'm not in danger of losing money on this.
Gene has been very welcoming to my ideas and granted me access to sensitive data, with complete trust.
I really hope that this could all turn around and we would love your support at the store!

I don't hate the man and only comment here because I miss what The Paracast used to be. His method of soliciting donations is not on par with other podcasts and if he offers personal information in the course of that he invites comment of a personal nature. I simply prefer to go elsewhere, which I have done. Note that I am stating my opinion here not anywhere else.

I cannot imagine web stores turning anything around for Gene but then I don't believe he's in any sort of crisis (other than a mental health crisis) to begin with. He says he doesn't like living in a motel, as he allegedly does, but he's managed it for months upon months now with whatever resources he's got.
He likes to say the need is urgent but what's the need, really? Gene wants your money.

In other words "it is true the sold today feature is a lie, a tool often used by scammers" removing it once youve been caught doesn't make you honest. It makes you caught out in a lie and thats all.
When caught at a lie, and being dishonest, blame someone else and claim you didnt do it on purpose. Beizer did the same thing as does Steinberg.
If caught out in a con, deny you meant to do it.

It IS immoral to beg almost daily using the lie you cant pay for the motel today and will be out tomorrow, when every day you manage to "find" the money. Its called cry wolf and the premise behind that cautionary tale is the boy keeps making false claims. Asking for donations by making false claims is immoral in most peoples view. Though that ratio would vary from demographic to demographic. Prison populations for example might lean the other way opinion wise.
Bottom line: only the dishonest could think it was moral to solicit donations with false claims. I wont even dignify the value for its customers aspect.
If you lie in court you are considered an unreliable witness and nothing you say counts as evidence. If your reviews are clearly lies, if your "sales today" claims are clearly lies then no other claims related to the site can be taken at face value and that includes the lie "value for its customers"
