I walk about five miles a day and have been listening to The Paracast to keep me occupied. In light of all of Gene's madness, can somebody recommend a better podcast? What's really the "Gold standard" these days? (I tried searching the forums for this, but I couldn't find much info.) Thanks

Radio Misterioso | In-depth conversations on the paranormal alternating with weird music. Occasionally live on Sundays 6-8 or 8-10 PM Pacific.

The Unexplained With Howard Hughes Free Paranormal Podcast
ME & PARANORMAL YOU – RYAN SINGER

these are all pretty good - and absolutely no adverts or grifting :)

Thanks! I'll check these out.

I like:

Where Did the Road Go (interviews, round table discussions)
Into the Fray (interviews)
Strange Familiars (interviews, discussions)
The Saucer Life (UFO history - really great)
Unexplained (storytelling, not always UFOs)

I like Last Podcast on the Left's paranormal themed episodes as well, though I can't handle all the serial killer stuff.

I am sure there are others I like that I am forgetting, some that have been around so long I just kind of take them for granted (bad of me). (update: oh yeah - Binnall of America, Radio Misterioso... EERIE Radio is still out there occasionally as EERIE X I think....)

There are a ton of great paranormal themed podcasts out there, so many.

I found the Paracast exciting when I discovered it toward the end of 2007. Once Biedny left, I stopped listening. I know a lot of people liked the O'Brien era though. It wasn't for me.

Love it. Thanks. I started off listening to Mysterious Universe, but eventually got bored when they started reading out loud from books and had guests infrequently. The Paracast was good for a bit, but I realized recently a tendency to drift off into pop-culture topics, including music and superheroes, mostly because the topic they were supposed to be dealing with had very little substance.

Just my opinion but I think it has to be challenging to keep a weekly, two hour podcast (not sure how much talk time without commercials?) on UFOs interesting after so many years. They don't seem interested in making any changes from that format however.

And all that said the Paracast still has an audience so far as I know.

The Paracast was originally founded as a way for me to have logical, reasonable discussions about things that had touched me in my personal life, and this was by no means limited to UFOs. I brought on multiple co-witnesses to a few experiences - one a UFO encounter in Venezuela with my brother, another an extended interaction with a weird entity that my old friend Bill Vellekoop and I experienced together, another with my old buddy Jaime and a bizarre episode of time dilation that was unlike anything I've ever heard about... the anomalous was the sandbox, but Steinberg is only capable of having a discussion about the historical aspects of the UFO phenomenon, which is laughable, given that he has never actually had a UFO experience himself. At this point, he only exists to talk about the endless television he watches, and how he can't make enough money to survive with his mental masturbation. Cry me a fucking river.

Also, it makes me laugh that Randall claims to be a "UFOologist" and researcher, seems to me that he's little more than another sad, pathetic soul desperate for some attention and relevance in his life. No career, no credentials, no professional background, nothing, nada. Has he ever even had a UFO encounter? I don't know, but I doubt it. These parasites are the festering wounds on the world of the anomalous, useless collections of molecules that gravitate to these topics due to the total absence of objective reason, logic and accountability. I have NEVER claimed to be a "researcher" of the anomalous, I'm an experiencer seeking answers. "Student" of the anomalous is probably how I'd categorize myself, it's the only honest position to take in this toxic "field". The human addiction to deception appears to be almost absolute.

I doubt you'll care to look but I was actually reading J. Randall Murphy's online paranormal autobiography earlier today. I take it as he believes he has experienced some out of the ordinary things but is reluctant to put a firm name to any of them (I read it is heavily implying an abduction type experience though). I think he is a believer in nuts and bolts UFOs, ETH. I might be mistaken.

I'm a little surprised J. Randall Murphy hasn't decided that being Gene's Sarah Huckabee Sanders is more trouble than it's worth (I mean, guy, you can just start your own podcast) but, some people thrive on contrarian behavior, I realize.

I didn't post any screen shots to the missing pages, or anything important really, but I made some comments that can be easily summarized:

Nothing about the FakeAirPod store looks the least bit legitimate.

Randall is a pompous fool, no doubt living in his grandmother's basement where he spews vacuous bombast all over the Parasite forum while Granny shovels snow. The very definitions of a putz. I wonder what Gene really thinks of him.
I still liken Steinberg and Murphy to Saruman and Grima Wormtongue in the LOTR. Both hate each other but they both need each other for their schemes.

Here's the latest e-beg:

I'm walking a tightrope
Hello,

Yesterday I paid the motel with less than hour to spare.

Thanks to a little help from my friends.

But I can’t go on this way.

Today, I have the same problem. Pay up or leave.

It’s no wonder I have nightmares about homeless shelters and food banks.

Can you help some by sending a donation today?

To send a donation, please login to: Send Money, Pay Online or Set Up a Merchant Account - PayPal, login and use the Send to friends and family option. Enter my email address, gene@technightowl.com, and click or tap Next to continue the transaction.

Thank you for reading and for your past support.

Peace,
Gene

I get only about two a year. I wonder how he decides who to send the latest cry for help to?

I get them most every time I check my email. When I joined that forum I got a snippy reply from my first post from USI Calgary because I said something negative about one of their guests, then later that day saw a begging email. It didn't take long to figure out that's not a friendly site.

wow - why say something with just one word when you can spout a thousand ! crazy man - I wish I'd read this before ever having bothered to try to rationalise with him on the Paracast forum. He's like the proverbial "nutter on the bus" - oh my god. I can remember being into these things in such a nerdy way when I was a kid - before I discovered women! Me and some of my mates had a "ufo club" and we each had our own garden shed "HQ" , typed up little ID card and badges, we had secret codes and went on ufo hunts on our pedal bikes. Sounds like that guy never grew out of that stage - probably never discovered women! Blimey it all begins to make some sort of crazy sense now!! :)

you can unsubscribe from receiving all mails and notifications - I have, and must admit that after doing so I 've never received any subsequent grift-mails :)
