Biden Admin To Fund Crack Pipe Distribution To Advance ‘Racial Equity’

The Biden administration is set to fund the distribution of crack pipes to drug addicts as part of its plan to advance "racial equity."

The $30 million grant program, which closed applications Monday and will begin in May, will provide funds to nonprofits and local governments to help make drug use safer for addicts. Included in the grant, which is overseen by the Department of Health and Human Services, are funds for "smoking kits/supplies." A spokesman for the agency told the Washington Free Beacon that these kits will provide pipes for users to smoke crack cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, and "any illicit substance."

HHS said the kits aim to reduce the risk of infection when smoking substances with glass pipes, which can lead to infections through cuts and sores. Applicants for the grants are prioritized if they treat a majority of "underserved communities," including African Americans and "LGBTQ+ persons," as established under President Joe Biden's executive order on "advancing racial equity."

Democratic-run cities such as San Francisco and Seattle have distributed smoking kits to residents. Some local governments, however, have in recent years backed away from their smoking kit programs over concerns they enable drug abuse. Louisville, Ky., for example, allowed convenience stores to sell smoking kits but later banned them. Legislators in Maryland ditched their distribution plan after facing backlash from local law enforcement and African-American leaders.

Rent the highest in 20 years, electricity the most expensive since 2005 and furniture prices higher than EVER: The staggering costs hitting Americans' pockets under Biden as inflation soars to the highest point in 40 years

The high inflation rate has slammed Americans in the pocketbooks as basic costs of living - such as food, electricity, gas, and shelter - have skyrocketed during Joe Biden's presidency. Inflation hit a 40-year high in January, with prices rising 7.5% from last year. That number was driven by higher costs of food, electricity and shelter costs, the Bureau of Labor Statistics said on Thursday. Medical costs have also risen during the pandemic. The number was an unpleasant surprise for the White House, which continues to argue that inflation will naturally go down over the next year. It also presents a dilemma for the Federal Reserve, which is weighing raising interest rates in March.

CIA has a secret surveillance program called 'Deep Dive' that has been collecting Americans' personal information for YEARS without congressional approval, Democratic Senators say

Democratic Senators Ron Wyden of Oregon and Martin Heinrich of New Mexico sent a letter to top intelligence officials calling for more details about the program to be declassified. Large parts of the letter, which was sent in April 2021 and declassified Thursday, and documents released by the CIA were blacked out. Wyden and Heinrich said the program operated 'outside the statutory framework that Congress and the public believe govern this collection.' While neither the agency nor lawmakers would disclose specifics about the data, the senators alleged The CIA had long hidden details about the program from the public and Congress.

An update on the taxpayer funded crack pipe debacle...

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin launches bipartisan bill to stop taxpayer funds being used on 'crack' pipes as two Republican Reps. introduce the 'HUNTER' Act to ban federal spending on needles and drug paraphernalia

Two Republicans appalled by a viral report alleging that the Biden administration was going to fund handing out crack pipes to drug addicts have introduced the 'HUNTER Act' to ban the distribution of drug paraphernalia. Though Health and Human Services (HHS) has denied that crack pipes were ever to be included in the 'safe smoking kits' they will fund, Reps. Lauren Boebert of Colorado and Dan Bishop of North Carolina told Fox News that the Biden administration got caught 'red-handed.' HHS is now considering applications from community groups to dole out $30 million as part of its Harm Reduction Grant. The grant will fund programs that offer materials for addicts to utilize when using to mitigate the spread of disease.

I've been saying on other threads that what has happened to us over the past few years looks and smells like exactly the type of media manipulation campaign the CIA would run against foreign countries to influence elections, undermine one party of another. John Brennan despises Trump and I can't help but wonder if he lent his expertise to the DNC. That Steele dossier was a steaming load that got far too much traction. It sounds nuts to say these sorts of things but I really do wonder. I'm usually the one to be skeptical of conspiracy theory but in this case something just ain't right. I think that's exactly what has been happening but like anything involving large numbers of people, took on a life of it's own.

Hillary Clinton's campaign paid tech firm to 'infiltrate' Trump Tower and White House servers while Trump was president in an attempt to link him to Russia, new filing from Special Counsel John Durham says

Hillary Clinton's election campaign paid money to a tech firm to 'infiltrate' servers that were at Trump Tower, and later the White House. According to a filing from Special Counsel John Durham, the aim was to try and smear Trump by linking him to Russia, which had been accused of meddling in the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election.

Durham was appointed by then-Attorney General William Barr to serve as the Special Counsel for the United States Department of Justice in October 2020, while Trump was president. He continues to investigate a case that is sure to anger supporters of the 45th president.

Durham's motion that was filed on Friday looked a potential conflicts of interest with regards to former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman, who has been charged with making a false statement to a federal agent. Sussman has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

The former chief investigator of the Trump-Russia probe for the House Intelligence Committee under Republican Devin Nunes, Kash Patel, said Friday's filing 'definitively showed the Hillary Clinton campaign directly funded and ordered its lawyers at Perkins Coie to orchestrate a criminal enterprise to fabricate a connection between President Trump and Russia,' reports Fox News.

'Per Durham, this arrangement was put in motion in July of 2016, meaning the Hillary Clinton campaign and her lawyers masterminded the most intricate and coordinated conspiracy against Trump when he was both a candidate and later President of the United States while simultaneously perpetuating the bogus Steele Dossier hoax,' Patel told Fox.

Car dealers are raising prices up to 82% above sticker price, blaming Biden's inflation and supply shortages - sparking threats from GM and Ford to withhold popular cars like the F-150

A new study from auto market research firm Edmunds showed that eighty-two per cent of Americans who bought cars at dealerships over the last year overpaid for the vehicles (left). Ford saw an average of $163 add-on to MSRP in 2021, and GM's Chevrolet and GMC brands saw markups of $625 and $677, respectively. Yet some popular Ford trucks are being oversold for $12,000 (top right) while GMC's Cadillac line saw an average of $4,048 last month (bottom right). Kia, Hyundai's popular bargain brand, saw an average mark up of $2,289. On average, the new markup on cars have cost consumers an extra $728, with shoppers reporting that electric vehicles and hybrids are being sold at an additional $10,000 or more.

My wife was at the Hyundai dealership this past week to get her car inspected. The salesman we normally deal with told her any car showing up on the lot is already sold. There is no excess inventory. Used vehicles are also nonexistent. Small wonder car dealers are gouging their customers. Car owners will remember who squeezed them with excess pricing.

Data crunched by the DC newspaper showed that 23.7 million individual and business returns were being held up because they require 'manual process' -- meaning someone in the tax office has to work on them rather than passing them through on the automated system.

I got last years very quickly. I filed electronically, as usual.

Ex-Director of National Intelligence claims Biden and Obama KNEW ABOUT Hillary campaign plot to hack Trump servers: 'Enough evidence in Durham's Russia probe to indict MULTIPLE people'

Trump era Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe says Joe Biden and Barack Obama knew Hillary Clinton's campaign was trying to hack into Trump's servers to try and find links to the Kremlin. Ratcliffe said former CIA Director John Brennan told Obama and the then-president and Vice President Biden in 2016 about allegations Clinton was trying to fabricate Trump's links to Russia to distract from the scandal over her deleted emails. The former DNI also told Fox News Digital on Monday there is 'enough evidence' to indict 'multiple people' in Special Counsel John Durham's probe into the origins of the Russia investigation into ex-President Doanld Trump. It follows Durham's bombshell claims in legal filings over the weekend that Clinton's campaign paid a firm to target servers in Trump Tower to create a fake scandal while he was still in office. Clinton allegedly approved in the 2016 election 'a plan concerning U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering U.S. elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server,' according to a CIA Counterintelligence Operational Lead (CIOL) first revealed when a heavily-redacted version became declassified in October 2020. The September 2016 memo was forwarded from the CIA to the FBI to the attention of then-FBI Director James Comey and then-Deputy Assistant Director of Counterintelligence Peter Strzok - the 'FBI lover' who had a relationship with Lisa Page.

Chinatown murder suspect remanded as prosecutors reveal victim was stabbed over 40 times
By Joe Marino and Kenneth Garger February 14, 2022 10:21pm

The homeless man accused of killing Christina Yuna Lee inside her Chinatown apartment was ordered held without bail at his Monday night arraignment after prosecutors claimed the fiend stabbed Yuna Lee more than 40 times.

Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Jay Weiner granted the district attorney’s request to remand Assamad Nash, 25, who was charged with murdering the 35-year-old creative producer and leaving her butchered inside her bathtub after following her home early Sunday.

Prosecutors also charged Nash with sexually motivated burglary – shedding light on a potential motive in the grisly crime.

While arguing the government’s case, Assistant District Attorney Dafna Yoran said Nash attempted to deter police from entering Yuna Lee’s apartment by imitating a woman’s voice.

“We don’t need the police here – go away,” Nash told police, according to Yoran, as he barricaded himself inside the apartment for roughly an hour-and-a-half before NYPD’s Emergency Service Unit busted the door down.

Once inside, police found Yuna Lee dead in her bathroom, naked from the waist up with over 40 stab wounds. Nash was located hiding under a bed with a stab wound to his torso and cuts to his hands and shoulder, prosecutors said.

A yellow-handled knife was found behind a dresser, Yoran said.

Chilling surveillance footage obtained by The Post shows Nash tailing Yuna Lee from the moment she returned home at about 4:20 a.m.

As the woman made her way up six flights of stairs to her apartment, Nash followed close behind and forced his way into the apartment just before the door closed.

At about 4:22 a.m., Yuna Lee was heard screaming for help and a male voice responded “calm down I have a gun,” according to a criminal complaint.

The woman was still crying out for assistance when cops arrived at her building within just minutes of the first 911 calls from neighbors who heard the commotion, prosecutors said.

At one point, Nash tried to flee down the fire escape before retreating back inside when he was spotted by police.

Nash had been living at the Bowery Mission homeless shelter at the time of Sunday’s slaying.

He has racked up at least a dozen arrests in New York and New Jersey dating back to 2012 and was free at the time on supervised release for a Jan. 6 arrest for criminal mischief.

He is due back in court on Thursday.
