just what is that 3.7GHz 4 core thingy doing for 45 seconds ?
I still have my windows XP pro disk set and all my old pc games. I had built my own pc, had a 10,000 rpm 10 gig drive for windows and a different one for the rest, a bitchen graphics card, than my msi motherboard usb ports fried and had to settle for a cheapy walnart i3 pc that i still have today, i was going to build another but i just got me a ps4 instead, i sure miss playing battlefield 42 massive multi player online with it. but it seems like it was faster than what i have now. instead of spliting everything up into 4 cores and back i had a really good single core.so,
I have been taught about computers,
know how to build one from scratch...
vaguely remember assembly code.
don't want to build something like a C compiler
so I kind of know what is required to make something like a smart phone
my version of hell is that I would be required to do this,
yet I still wonder how many layers most modern computers rum on.
if I click on a link on a website on my tablet, just what is that 3.7GHz 4 core thingy doing for 45 seconds ?
and my worry is that the people that built it don't have any idea either.
