i have seen what people claims to be "chemtrails" in my area, however to nobody surprise they are just persistent contrailsSo true......I've yet to see any chemtrails in my area.....it is usually a good way to invalidate a statement....

The last ones I remember at AU both got booted when they were constant spamming the same material. The fact one of the was a nazi wannabe didn't help their cause.

But as a government employee of some kind you have to sit in those stupid seminars where they brainwash you and you are grossly misinformed on some subjects.
I have an otherwise intelligent brother who was brainwashed into believing in global warming and illegal immigration as a government employee.
Both of these beliefs are flat out full blown nuts.
1. 40% of our food comes from more warmth and more CO2. A 60% growth increase since 1900. There is no chance in hell any negative that you can mention comes close to matching this benefit.
2. Tell me how much CO2 is warming the planet, exactly. It has been 40 years. You must have some clue? No?
The only study that I am aware of that even attempted to measure it came up with 0.2 W/m2 at two sites over 11 years for a 22 PPM increase. That is a quasi TSR measurement and should have been about 0.62 W/m2.
0.2 W/m2 for 22 PPM is about 1 W for the 110 PPM increase since 1900. That is 1/5- 1/3 of the warming.
Sad truth: the warming is mostly due to something else.
And given that the warming is virtually all beneficial, we wouldn't care if it was driven by CO2. CO2 is plant food.
At 460 PPM we will have doubled food production due to more CO2.

I also respect your opinion my friend. But I've never had to sit though any of these seminars because I am in a completely different line of work. I also do not believe in global warming, I believe in climate change.

I'm not sure we mean the same thing.
The deforestation at the equator is drying and heating an area that semi-arid in the absence of rainforests.
This is seen in how screwed up the climate is getting in parts of Brazil. The equator (especially rainforest areas) should see almost zero impact from more CO2.
The current desert areas are rapidly shrinking due to more CO2. It is hard to maintain deserts when CO2 is at its normal 1000 PPM and the closer to 1000 we get, the smaller the deserts.

But they are predicting 7% solar cooling so the next half century will get cooler.

They should believe in it the current short term warming trend.......if its one country that has something to do with it it would be them. If not they still need to work on their pollution.....they make place like LA and NYC look clean.
