Some sort of transflooglement yesterday and I just couldn't get my damned iphone to cooperate. I've been through GCT fifty billion times but sometimes I still have to stop and take it in - something pretty damned nice that tends to go unnoticed.

Saw a very, very pretty petite young woman in there last night. Nothing unusual about that. Except this one is a NYS Trooper and she was toting a rifle. Hmmm. Don't see that every day.

Was there a fugitive on the loose, or something?

Nope. Just optics I think. The security you see is just there to make you feel better. Once in a while you see the real security that can apparently come boiling out of various unnoticed doors.

I met my wife for the first time on the East Balcony, so I'm a bit nostalgic.

If you're ever passing through there take the time to look up. I know the ceiling was cleaned up during the last renovation - thought they had fiber optics in there now.

Cutting my own hair after staying awake for about 60 hours wasn't the wisest of choices this morning...x...3

Needless to say, my hair is shorter then I had intended for it to be, I'll be wearing a ball cap to work in tomorrow morning...

I cut my own hair with electric shears. It's is easier to shave it down to the skin than it is to get a uniformed 1/2 to 1 inch length. I would like to have the sides shaved, but I always mess that up and it would cost too much to have a barber maintain it every three weeks.

I got a few hours sleep last night, not as much as I should have, I got up at 0400 this morning and have to work until 2100 tonight, ugh...I'm in my office at work now, might take an hour nap before starting, I don't really need to be here until 1000...

Apologies to those who have sent me pms that I haven't responded to yet, I'll do so soon, just have had so much on my plate lately and didn't want to give a rushed response...

I got a text tonight, I have to go in to work tomorrow, 0700 until sometime in the afternoon yay, but it did snow today for the first time this season...Big snowflakes too when it first started to snow and then a heavy snowfall, took a while before it began sticking to the ground, it wasn't quite enough to cover the grass completely and it did stick to the roads somewhat making the roads slushy...Lasted about an hour or so lol...

Ugh, felt the beginnings of something coming on yesterday, been tired all day today with slight sore throat, body aching, and congestion, maybe slight fever, not sure on that one yet...Didn't go into work today either, actually slept off and on most of the day, more on than off...Eating half a pineapple at the moment, its so good...

I'm three towns over at friend's place, doing some updates on their laptop, eating some home cooked dinner soon, drinking a New Castle beer, its pouring rain and continuing all night, glad I brought Kobi with me, might take the spare bedroom tonight if the rain doesn't let up later...

Does anyone remember Sunday or Saturday morning "Creature Feature" in the 70s on television, sometimes playing two movies back to back, "Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein" or "The Mummy" for instance, hosted by some guy dressed as Dracula...
