Any of my devices that display time is set to a 24 hour format which I prefer to use and have done so for many years...This evening I've been installing software in a couple computers that aren't mine and about 30 minutes ago I looked at the time display on one of those computers which is set to 12 hour time and it confused me for a moment lol...I looked at the time which showed 10:07 and I thought what the hell, it isn't morning lol...

It's a pile up on the highway. The guy in the ditch a half mile back has no idea how he got there.

Right now electric wire, specifically NM-B (like Romex) is in short supply. So are plastic electric boxes and pipe. Prices have doubled in the past month - sucks to be an electrician right now. I'm told it's related to the big freeze in TX a few months back. Downstream effect.

Off to work. I usually ask customers 'what do you need?'

Now that the warm weather is here and people are wearing less bulky clothing the silent answer in my head 9/10 times is ' a gastric bypass'

Washed, waxed and detailed my car this morning, then put the car cover over it...It was cloudy all morning, a perfect opportunity to do the car...The tree pollen is low now but the grass pollen is high so I covered the car to keep it clean at least for a short time lol...We've had hot weather this week too, 90s during the days which have been really sunny and 70s at night...Today is the first time I've seen clouds since last week, forecast calling for rain on Friday, only 35 percent chance, if we get it then that will be the first rain in weeks...

Try to get plenty of rest. I'm vaccinated but I just got over a cold. I think the changes in the season and the weather can really cause irritation.

Finally got some decent rain in my neck of the woods, its been a bit dry here but had a couple storms come through last night...Another storm is on the way, if it makes it here today we should get more rain...Kobi and I slept in the workshop last night, I like the sound of rain hitting the metal roof, I slept really well lol...

Oh yeah, even flashes of lightning freaks him out along with the sound of thunder, but last night it was just a steady rain, no lightning or thunder...If we lose power it freaks him out too if he's in the house, seeing the lights go off then he goes hiding lol...

Another thing that kobi freaks out about is CDs or DVDs...He doesn't like me holding one in my hand, he will sniff it and look at it briefly but then keeps his distance and if I insert the disc into any machine he runs off into another room, he doesn't like hearing the disc spin up inside the player...I don't know of why compact discs freak him out, he's always been that way since he was a puppy, fortunately I don't use discs too much...

My fever broke this AM and I'm feeling better. Rikki has been mixing up a drink with lemon orange and a few other fruits for me it's quite tasty. Along with the aroma therapy I'm feeling a lot more clear headed.

Was sitting on the couch the other night. Cold and raining hard and heard a big booooom. Power went out. Pie freaks out, gets all mooney. Went down tot he shed and plugged in the nice dry generator, went to the house and did the clicky-click with my panel interlock and was back to watching the X-Files all snug and dry with a calm pup. Easy peasy. Power was only out about 3 hours
