I have a Monopoly board game from 1939. Monopoly was first marketed on a broad scale by Parker Brothers in 1935.

The scottie dog piece was not introduced until after 1940 when FDR adopted one. His White House dog created a national scottie sensation in the US.

I'm pretty sure the scottie is the most popular piece. I used to know someone a long time ago who had a scottie and a westie -- the black and the white versions, though technically I think westies are a different breed.

Hahaha... arent guns illegal there?

No not illegal . Bit more restricted than what it was but you can still have rimfire and centrefire rifles but no semi or full auto. Hand guns have always been restricted. Before the 90s there were no gun laws here at all.

Around here they are well armed. No not neutered at all most people I know here who are armed just went out and bought more guns to replace the ones they had to hand in. Every second house here where I am would have guns in them. High powered rifles are popular due to the Deer and Roo shooting.
