Brittney Cooper is a full-on racist, but she is allowed to get away with it.

A new poll by Fox News shows Youngkin has pulled ahead of McAullife in the Virginia governor race among likely voters by 8 points. The Dems and the local media are utterly clueless about what's happening. They're still trying to make it all about Trump and this is failing miserably. Youngkin, who was an obscure unknown in the state political arena until now, has refused to have Trump or any other big name politicians come and campaign for him. He's making it all about education and state local issues.

The Dems are throwing everything they can get hold of against the wall and nothing is sticking. The abortion issue is not gaining any traction. My significant other, who had an abortion when she was a teenager, is more outraged by McAullife's stand on education and the arrogance of the school boards. She has two grown children and several grand children.

The Fox poll showed that McAullife led among women by about 9 points just 2 weeks ago. Now the lead is down to 1 point.

Clearly, the Dems have angered and mobilized the mama bears! a0014

I predict Republicans will take back the state house in Virginia and possibly replace the Lt Gov and Attny Gen as well. They will probably regain the majority in the House of Delegates also.

    Incisive!
Phobic is a pet peeve of mine as it is often applied in contexts where no actual fear is involved.

Maher is a representative of liberalism. Progressivism may be regarded as an outgrowth of liberalism, but it is very different. That's why Ruth Bader Ginsburg's words are sometimes altered by people who quote her. And while JFK was a liberal in his time, he doesn't fit the mold of today's progressives.

By today's standards, JFK would be considered a right wing conservative. He would be ousted from the Dem Party.

Modern 'progressives' are neo-Marxist. America has a habit of mislabelling Marxists and other authoritarian socialists as 'liberals'. They do not bear any political resemblance to traditional liberals. Capitalism is a liberal idea, after all.

Netflix is actually going to air this?...

Colin Kaepernick is slammed for comparing NFL to SLAVERY in new Netflix doc: Black players are inspected by white coaches before appearing in shackles on an auction block

    upload_2021-10-31_12-33-3.png

Colin Kaepernick has compared the NFL Draft and training camp to slavery in his new Netflix special, with one scene showing players being paraded in front of coaches and scouts before they're seen in shackles on an auction block. The Netflix special, Colin in Black & White, goes into the former NFL star's childhood from high school to the events that led him onto to become an advocate for social justice. Kaepernick became a controversial figure in the NFL in 2016, when he started kneeling during the playing of the US national anthem to protest police brutality and racial injustice while playing for the San Francisco 49ers.

Who are generally the richest out of players, coaches, and scouts?

I believe it's the players that get the biggest paydays due to their multi-million dollar contracts...

The richest are the owners, never mind the players. Each NFL team averages between $300 to $321 Million in profit per year. Who know what the revenue is. The NFL league made 12.2 Billion in 2020, and that was a Covid year. I wouldn’t weep for anyone involved in Pro Football.

Will make it harder to nab suspects who have warrants as traffic stops are how they are sometimes caught.

Drunks are most often caught with a light out or something minor like that. Best to let them continue to drive drunk, wouldn't want to insult anyone

I think the VA governor's race to day will be a referendum on over the top horseshit.

Terry McAuliffe's campaign was a complete farce.

He tried to make it about Trump but most voters have moved on and they're tired of hearing about the 2020 Pres Race.

He tried to make it about race but the Republican Lt Gov candidate is a black woman from Jamaica and the Republican candidate for Attny Gen is a Cuban-American.

Republican Glen Youngkin has been declared the winner in the gubernatorial race. Though counting is still going on, all the projections are saying Republican Winsome Sears has won the Lt Gov race and Republican Jason Miyares has won the Attny Gen race. It also appears Virginia Republicans have taken a one vote majority in the House of Delegates.

I hope Ciattarelli holds his lead and pulls off the upset in NJ.

McAuliffe's telling parents to mind their own business about school curriculum was the height of arrogance.

McAuliffe was banging the Trump drum so loud he got confused and did exactly what Trump did - ran a sloppy campaign fueled by arrogance and lost badly. Very much like Hillary Clinton.

I saw McAuliffe's statement live last night and it sounded like he won for God's sake. Talking about all the great things that need to be done. If he had been doing any of them in the past few years he'd still the governor.

I'm a lifelong Virginia resident. When I was growing up in the 1970's and 80's the state was controlled by Democrats but it was always said that there was a big difference between a VA Dem and a national Dem. Virginia Democrats tended to be fiscally more conservative and they favored the old Jeffersonian idea of less government. The Dems in VA today are every bit as liberal as the national Dems. They want govt to be involved in every facet of a person's daily life.
