Al Jazeera Reporter Stunned When Elderly Gaza Woman Blames Hamas for Stealing Aid: ‘I Am Not Afraid…They Can Shoot Me’

An elderly Gaza woman accused Hamas of hoarding humanitarian aid meant for Palestinian civilians during a television news interview, saying that the terrorists "can shoot me," to the apparent shock of the Al Jazeera journalist conducting the interview. The Wednesday exchange was preserved by the Washington-based Middle East Media Research Institute and circulated, in truncated form, by Israeli journalist Roi Kais on social media.

"The situation is difficult. No aid is coming in," the journalist said during the interview outside a hospital in the south Gaza city of Khan Younis, according to English subtitles added to the clip. The unidentified woman quickly disputed the notion, saying that aid is making it to Gaza, but is snatched up before it can be broadly distributed.
"All the aid goes to [the tunnels] underground," she said, referring to the winding subterranean network of Hamas strongholds known as the Gaza Metro. "It does not reach all the people."

US to conduct military flights over Guyana as fears of a Venezuela invasion grow: Pentagon launches exercises after Maduro staked claim to oil-rich border region

The U.S. is putting on a show of force in the skies above Guyana on Thursday, as the Biden administration said it was standing with the country amid growing fears that Venezuela was about to launch an invasion. It comes after Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro raised the stakes by ordering maps to be withdrawn and telling state companies to exploit contested oil and mineral deposits. The dictator has ramped up his rhetoric, claiming a Sunday referendum gave him a clear mandate to claim sovereignty over Guyana's oil rich region of Essequibo.

Netanyahu says 'it is the beginning of the end' for Hamas as dozens of terrorists give themselves up - and tells the rest 'Surrender NOW': Footage shows more stripped suspects paraded by IDF - as forces edge closer to snaring 'Gaza's Bin Laden'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on Hamas terrorists to 'surrender now' as he vowed that the Islamist group's end is near. His stark warning came as Israel's Defence Forces said they are closing in on their number one target - top Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. 'The war is still ongoing but it is the beginning of the end of Hamas. I say to the Hamas terrorists: It's over. Don't die for Sinwar. Surrender now,' Netanyahu said in a statement. Israel has said that more and more Hamas fighters are giving themselves up as ground operations are ramping up across the Gaza Strip. Over recent days, scores of men Israel has labelled 'terror suspects' have been pictured bound, stripped and lined up on their knees.

In addition to being a terrorist organization, Hamas also has governmental power. It's possible that a significant portion of their "soldiers" were drafted or otherwise coerced to begin with.

How many are already dead or so abused as to never return? The IDF certainly is certainly aware of that.

That means nothing.

Even if every single Hamas fighter is killed in this operation, relatives of all the killed civilians will resurrect new Hamas as soon Israel leaves Gaza. That's exactly the way Taliban constantly grew in numbers during American occupations of Afghanistan. More locals you kill, more new recruits join the resistance and you can't kill whole nations. Not even Soviets and Nazis achieved that.

Circles of violence can not stop by killing people.

unless it's your loved one

exactly, You are talking as if Palestinians are not human. its not just you who has loved ones. All these Palestinian civilians that Israel killed as collateral damage have their loved ones as well. And they will be joining Hamas and other similar idiots.

All this could had been sorted without violence, with economic sanctions and blockade, which would kill nobody, but would force Hamas to be extradited. That's why negotiations are better then wars.

You are talking as if Palestinians are not human

No I'm not. What I am saying is that those who committed the violence that started this on October 7 are to blame and have crossed a line - they have forfeit their claim to being human. They literally need to be exterminated and of course it will engender future generations but to take a note out of the GWOT it is possible to kill enough of them to degrade their capabilities. You have a poisonous snake in the garden you kill it, period. Negotiating with it is stupid. The thing that will prevent a reoccurrence of Hamas and it's ilk would be to bring prosperity to the region. Hamas does not represent the Palestinian people and the two need to be separated.

In hindsight this could might've been prevented but hindsight isn't how we fight wars and the right-wing extremists on both sides have been in power for some time and I'd think any chance to reconcile extremely slim. Hamas is obviously out for itself and using the genuine and quite legitimate Palestinian cause as an excuse, a literal shield. In all of human history when have any wars been fought without the innocents suffering terribly?

A Turkish lawmaker collapsed in parliament Tuesday, suffering a heart attack at the end of a livestreamed parliamentary speech in which he slammed Israel and said it wouldn’t be able to “escape the wrath of Allah.”

Hasan Bitmez, 53, of the conservative Felicity Party, delivered an address at the General Assembly of the Turkish parliament, ending it by saying that “we can perhaps hide from our conscience but not from history,” and by addressing the Jewish state: “You will not escape the wrath of Allah.”

He then said, “I salute you all,” immediately before collapsing to the ground at the podium, with his head hitting the floor.

Fellow members of the assembly rushed to his side.

According to Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, Bitmez was hospitalized and his condition was “extremely critical and serious.”

Turkey had been in the midst of an effort to warm ties with Israel in the months before Hamas’s October 7 onslaught in southern Israel and the ensuing war, but Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has since sharply backtracked and returned to the same vitriolic attacks that characterized many of the Islamist leader’s previous years in power.

Last week, Erdogan reiterated his belief that Hamas is not a terror group and said it must have a part in rebuilding Gaza after the war, despite the backing Israel has received from the West to eliminate the Palestinian terror group from the coastal enclave, which it has ruled since 2007.

In the October 7 onslaught, 3,000 Hamas-led terrorists burst through the border and massacred 1,200 people in southern Israel, most of them civilians slaughtered in their homes and at a music festival, and seized 240 hostages, almost 140 of whom are still held captive in Gaza.

Erdogan warned Israel last week that it would “pay a very heavy price” if it attempted to eliminate Hamas members in Turkey, several days after recordings were revealed of the head of the Shin Bet security agency saying Jerusalem is determined to kill group leaders “in every location” around the world, including “in Lebanon, in Turkey, in Qatar.”

Early in November, Turkey recalled its ambassador to Israel for consultations over the war in Gaza, although it said that it was not breaking off diplomatic ties entirely.

The two countries only restored full diplomatic ties in August 2022 after years of deteriorating relations.

Bill Maher warns pro-Palestinians that Israel is going NOWHERE - and highlights how Jews were 'kicked out of every Arab county they once lived in'

Bill Maher slammed pro-Palestine extremists peddling the 'myth' that Israel could be wiped out in the war with Hamas, arguing that over the course of history, 'things change.' Inflammatory chant 'from the river to the sea' has been heard in protests across the West after the conflict broke out on October 7, with many seeing it as a call to eradicate the nation of Israel entirely. But Maher, 67, who is Jewish but identifies as an atheist, said the chant ignores 'reality', and suggested that Palestinians 'come to an accommodation' to end the decades-long crisis in the Middle East, as other societies have done throughout history.

Back on her feet after being blown up by a Hamas hand grenade: Brave IDF Alsatian war dog Mikey undergoes oxygen therapy after attack weeks from retirement left shrapnel in her brain

Mikey was weeks away from retirement when a terrorist attacked her in Gaza and she suffered catastrophic injuries to her face, body and legs. The explosives specialist in the elite Oketz canine unit was evacuated to Israel on November 12 and vets battled to save her for two weeks. But despite operating to remove shrapnel in her eyes, ears, leg, abdomen and head the outlook was bleak. With no options left, Mikey's superiors insisted she receive the best treatment possible and called Professor Shai Efrati at his world leading Hyperbaric Medicine and Research facility near Tel Aviv. Incredibly after just a few weeks of treatment at the department of Shamir Medical Center the Alsatian is back on her feet. Mikey received bursts of 100 per cent oxygen through a face mask in a chamber (top right) that doubles the atmospheric pressure for two hours, six times a week.

Iran appears to have struck ship off Indian coast with UAV

Iran appears to have struck a ship off the Indian coast with an unmanned aerial vehicle, a U.S. official told Fox News on Saturday.

It comes as Houthi militants targeted multiple cargo ships on Saturday, as the group fired two anti-ship ballistic missiles into international shipping lanes located in the Southern Red Sea, according to U.S. Central Command. No ships were impacted by the ballistic missiles, officials said.

The USS Laboon shot down four unmanned aerial drones on Saturday which originated from areas that the Houthis control in Yemen.

U.S. Naval Forces Central Command also received reports from two ships in the Southern Red Sea on Saturday at 8 p.m. that they were under attack.

Norwegian-flagged M/V Blaamanen, a chemical/oil tanker, reported that there was a near miss by a Houthi one-way attack drone, adding that no one was injured.

The second ship, Gabon-owned, Indian-flagged M/V Saibaba, which carried crude oil, reported it was hit by a one-way attack drone. No injuries were reported, and the USS Laboon responded to the attacks.

The incidents mark the 14th and 15th attacks by Houthi Militants on commercial ships since Oct. 17.

Massive pro-Palestine protests erupt in New York City: HUNDREDS of demonstrators try to force their way into the World Trade Center as Times Square is taken over

Chants of 'Biden you will see, Palestine will be free' and ' Israel bombs, USA pays, how many kids did you kill today?' was part of the rhetoric used by the protesters. Effigies representing children killed in Gaza were seen after people took part in silent procession which was organized partly by elderly Jewish groups through Midtown Manhattan earlier Thursday. The march to the World Trade Center was targeted around the entrance to the Oculus, a massive shopping center that also houses the PATH train.
