I was goggling at the vehicles. Good God, if I could beam just one into the future it would be the red Falcon wagon.

Problem with the time travel thing I bet is you don't anticipate how much the past must've stunk to high hell. In that era my family smoked like active volcanoes.

    Samantha met some new animals!
    A kangaroo!
    Some lambs!
And as she put it "cool bats!"

    Mommy what's this?
After telling her she caught a toad Rikki helped her let it go back to the wild.
Today was a great day of discovery for our youngest daughter.

agreed. in fact today I am going to retreat to the basement with a rifle and just peek out through the Bilco doors at the world - safest that way.

.... no worries. I don't have Bilco doors and the basement's mostly above grade. The idea appeals to me though. Keeps all the outside nonsense away.

Very nice but heating and cooling are considerations. Knew somebody with an A-frame house that looks great but was a bitch keeping air moving where needed.

I would never just assume a cabin in the woods has to be spooky. But I'm not up to the challenge of fixing it up, so Sell.

This pool is where the "wild man of wood" comes to drink. When asked a ho chunk shaman described him like big foot. 20200518_151211.jpg
This small cave was used by go chunk shamans to meditate for ages. Rikki spent an hour there. I asked her how it went she simply said "revelation"
Kate also went and had a similar experience.

Wouldn’t you have loved to get a hold of some of those cars of that era? My Dad was a car nut and he would have gone bonkers seeing those old vehicles.

Never been there but I have been to the Mid-Continent Railway Museum and it's worth a look if you're in the area. Cool stuff
