I dont understand it. There are several countries that have the capability to send ballistic or cruise misiles into N Korea
to destroy the nuke sites and to end the life of Mr. Kim. Why dont just go ahead and do it. Too much fuss...
I guess because that's not how it is all planned to go down...Kim and Trump are puppets hanging from the same string. They're just actors following a script, and we are the viewers who are not allowed to take a looksie behind the curtains.

Yes, there are probably people trying to work it out, but with a direct attack the risks are too great.

I guess your right.. In order for a "invasion" to work. They have to go in with an massive surprise strike force. Taking out thousands of military targets simultaneously including the, chopping of , of Kims head.
Can it be done ? US navy/ air force with conventional weapons ?
IF the US goes commando on this.. Will any other countries really object.. China thinks N Korea is an embarrasment

Well it's complicating.. as far as i know..
When Kim Joung Un get provoked he will start making missiles and when he start making missiles he will take NK citizen's money for it and many people will suffer..
NK makes most of its money through trading and by getting money from its citizens overseas, who must remit most of their paychecks to the government.
Kim Joung Un and NK is like on a suicidal mission. He dont even mind killing his own people / his neighbour countries.. If he get provoke anything could happen and he is having nuclear weapons..

Well, no.
Technically Russia and China are allies of NK. Direct attack is a act of war.
If we had a good relationship with Russia this would have been solved by now. NK would have been told to behave by Russia and China.
However, the Democrats, for selfish and self-serving reasons (the only reasons they know) have poisoned our relationship with Russia. That makes any near term solution difficult or impossible.
This does create a problem because SK will want to be nuclear armed and Japan will start thinking about it.
But at this point the big US priority is upgrading antimissile systems. We should be spending about $100+ billion a year on it. The systems don't need to be good enough for hypersonic warheads (they will eventually), just what NK is currently fielding.
We can just cut federal employment in areas like the EPA who has 2-3 times the staff they need (something like 5 people for every county in the US - and they by and large don't do field work). And cutting all line items for useless programs like global warming ($22 billion/year more waste). Cutting government waste to fund missile defense is a win/win.
The best way to fund missile defense is to gore Democrat oxes. They created the problem, they should pay to fix it.
Further, we are going to need to improve first strike, and ascent stage intercept, capability.
The Democrats (Clinton was the first one to kick the can on NK) created the problem, and have blocked antimissile defense. There is a large block of Democrats that cling to MAD (desperate clingers). MAD doesn't work against crazy people. Kim is crazy. He used anti-aircraft weapons to execute Jang Song-thaek's two deputies then executed his uncle (the dog story is thought to be satire).
Only the crazy use MAD against crazy people.
