I'm out in nature and have to do things in the breeze...I don't camp at places that have facilities close by, that means people will be around and that's who I don't want around me when camping lol...I'm in a national forest this time but on the primitive camping area I haven't been to in many years...They do have designated campsites with a carved out spot to burn a fire but that's it, the rest you're on your own and the sites are spread out a generously good distance apart...As far as I can tell I'm the only one here, the last person I saw was the Ranger yesterday to get the permit and let them know I'm out here...
Today's agenda is to relocate two natural springs that I've gotten water from before, but again that's been many years ago...I'm not sure the springs are still active and I'm not sure the exact location but I do remember the starting point and natural markers that pointed me in the right direction...I'm taking my GPS with me, an old Magellan GPS device so I can get coordinates when I find the springs again...

He's 9 years old in September, that makes him about 63 human years old...Last year both of us were the same age at 56 lol, now he's passing me by this year...Hope he sticks around a while, his breed can live up to around 12 to 15 years or so I've read...

We all went to the park an just gave Pie a driveway bath. Between the skunk and general funk, hoo boy. Warm water from the tap not just the garden bib. Spoiled.
So - don't we all say some version of 'you got no clothes on' and 'Pie's naked' and so forth when they scamper around the house afterward? Well .... she IS .... and she needs a little more chasing right now .......

Be careful giving cherries to bunnies and cherries shouldn't be fed to young rabbits, only adults and never let them chew or swallow the pit, it's toxic to them...Also the sugars in cherries can cause digestive problems for rabbits, they aren't geared to have a sugary diet...

the vet visit the other day revealed that one of the cats lost a canine. The gum's healthy and the vet honest, she hadn't noted it on any earlier visits and it looks too well healed to have happened recently. He was never in any apparent distress.
