Love the old Smith Corona. I was in my 'repair typewriter' phase a while. It's the devil's business with those things - I had no fun.

I'm paraphrasing but laughed out loud when I heard that Napoleon Bonaparte referred to a minister who survived the monarchy's fall and the revolution because he had all the dirt on everybody, had loads of $$$$ and everybody owed him. A Crassus, to make an obscure reference. He called the man "a stocking full of shit" and the thought that it survived this long to make it me is funny. To me anyway.
