Really good movie. 10/10.

There's an obvious lesson in there about granting people authority they don't deserve and then piling on that mistaken belief with zeal. You could draw some parallels to ufology.

I'm going to start with the obvious rocky horror is NOT a good movie
But it's not really an movie anymore it's an event The movie represents social themes of sexual freedom, the importance of music, and how to just have plain fun. The film brings out an element of joy in everyone who sees it in the theaters. That is where it belongs in a theater. To watch my 16 year old boy and his girlfriend do the time warp. To see the absolute fun the movie brings out. None of the messages were lost on my son. Independence choice and a rejection of "normalcy " on the way home both spoke openly and frankly on life expectations and what they want out of life. "Carpe Diem "
As a movie 2/10
As an event 10/10
I don't recommend it but it is an experience I for one am glad I went to.
It's effects will follow my son for a long time ..

Knock at the Cabin (2023) - M. Night Shyamalan

Still watching this movie, we're just over half way through it...Its fine thus far, a bit of a slow burner but gives just enough to keep interest...The story has a nice idea, hope it gets executed well...

ET would look at our games and entertainment and unlike us primates could make the connection to the profusion of mass shootings.

John Wick Chapter 4 (2023) has an immense amount of mindless mind-numbing killing and since I haven't seen the other 3 John Wick movies, I could not fully follow the storyline...Many actions in this movie were because of actions in the past movies...

However, that being said, there are many parts of this movie that were very entertaining...The scenery, acting, and writing are excellent when there is more dialog than shooting and killing...These aren't the type of movies I typically would see, I only watched it to see what was all the praise for this movie about...

Also a surprise, Donnie Yen is also in this movie and his role was outstanding...I always enjoy watching his martial arts skills at work...

Full disclosure, Ghostbusters 2016 left me with fear, loathing, and dread. So, I put off watching Ghostbusters Afterlife because of the trauma.
.
I got past this finally and watched it this morning.
.
I have read the reviews, followed the debates, muddled through the various threads.
.
I liked it. I liked it, a lot.
.
A proper Ghostbusters 3. Plenty of connections to the original, homages aplenty, and a genuine gesture towards the full flavor of Ghostbusters.
.
Perfect? No. But, a solid effort and I appreciate it in part and whole.
8/10

I’m sitting here watching Star Wars A New Hope for the millionth time and noticed something. Obi Wan hands Luke his father’s lightsaber who just flips it on and waves it around. Next few shots he’s talking to Obi Wan with the thing just casually pointed right at him.

One good sneeze and all of a sudden zzzzzzzzzzzzzzap and there’s a smoking hole through your new mentor. Ooops. Would’ve made a much shorter movie

Not a movie but we've caught a few of Jim Gaffigan's Amazon specials and this guy's absolutely hilarious. This is just a random sample I found

GranTurismoMoviePoster.jpegbased half on a videos game half on a true story this move delivers fast racing action. Some wooden acting and footage from a real crash.
It was enjoyable and fun. My kids loved it!

This a documentary. The narrator is very monotone but what he has to say is nothing more than frightening. I recommend you watch it. You will never be the same afterwards.

Now this one we liked a lot. Watched it last night. I'm hesitant in giving anything a 10/10 so I'll give it a 9/10. Nicholas Cage makes a fantastic Dracula, so much so that I think they CGI morphed Bela Lugosi and his face together for various scenes. He brings the dark comedy (of which there's no lack) and mixes it with bloody horror (not a fan but this was funny) and engaging characters.

Good one
