I don't see much evidence either and don't think its being hidden either. However, I personally believe there are intelligent races living beyond our solar system. My big issue is I don't think they'd find us interesting or to primitive.
But like many have said and I think if some of these races that can travel between universes would easily be able to hide themselves from us.....if they are interested in visiting the earth.
Agreed we know electrons are around.....and many smaller particles like those recently discovered at the CERN collider.

What you have are folks who do not accept exhibit A as supportive of Claim X.
-They may fail to draw the logical inference and simply don't understand how A supports X.
-They may find the 'If A then B therefore X' is flawed. In which case, they are right in rejecting A as evidence.
-They may be so close minded and illogical in their reasoning that they won't even consider it.
Regardless of their reasons, they refuse or dismiss A as evidence of X. When they do that they then say "There is no evidence of X."

Like Spock said in Star Trek......"its only human arrogance that they assume the message must be fore them". I highly doubt we could do anything that would be of interest to a race that could travel between stars.
If they do come to save the earth it likely won't be a good thing.
