Took the day yesterday to rest some, was a little fatigued, maybe from the covid shot I got on Friday or the outside work I've been doing in the garden or a little of both lol...The garden is ready to plant, I still need to put up the fencing (chicken wire) around it to keep the deer out...

Today spring cleaning in the house and closing up the windows and turning on the AC because the tree pollen is getting really high now...It rained last night for a few hours which was perfect to wash down some of the pollen outside...

After a few nights of problems our family crisis has passed. Fights and disharmony are expected but twice now things got out of control. My little one was badly affected and is sleeping with Mom and Dad. I'm hoping the situation will not repeat it self.
I'm going to lose what little hair I have left..

I was shocked to see a foot of snow had fallen last night. Icicles dripping down everywhere.

We have a cool spell coming at the end of the week, just in the evenings, doesn't look like it will drop below 40 degrees though...

The tree pollen really stepped up a few notches today, it was thick in the air with a steady breeze blowing all day...My shirt and shoes were greenish yellow from just the short times I was outside this afternoon...I've already got the AC running in my workshop, mainly just on fan and filtering the air while it circulates the air inside...I don't have any allergies to the pollens here, my mother does, she takes a prescribed medication for her allergies...Some years when its thicker than normal it's made my nose run, but normal years of pollen isn't an issue with me, I just don't want it all over inside my house and workshop...

I'll have to get the lawn cut soon and am already thinking about staining the decks. It'll be rainy the next few days and that'll wash away my guilt. Just don't feel like it, to be honest. Sometimes I like working out there but right now I would rather finish getting that old Chevy buttoned back up and that can prove to be excruciatingly slow at times. One thing at a a time, if possible.

I'm already into my third mowing of the year, and the fourth mowing will be this afternoon or tomorrow, before the rain comes on Wednesday lol...

Last night my little one returned to her own room. It was only after we got a night light and a lot of coaxing. To help My oldest Kate broke out a air mattress and sleeping bag and slept on the floor.
The whole was a mess and it's good that my family is finally getting back to normal.

Bunny shooting across the yard at Warp Factor 9. Wee raccoon up a tree making weird little skritchy noises.

One of these days my neighbors will see my dog running around with the bloody stump of my arm dangling from her leash. This morning was a pre-dawn test of my Emergency Adrenal System.

    It passed.

Gave myself the day off yesterday and unplugged from about everybody and everything.

Don't use the chainsaw much and knew the gas for it was old. Ancient, in fact. When I used it a couple of weeks ago it ran like crap but it's a big sucker and even at 50% throttle can still get 'er done. So I ran it dry and dumped the gas. Yesterday I refilled it with fresh gas. It's a 50:1 two-cycle mix. Still farted and popped and ran like crap and wouldn't run at full throttle. The dreaded E10 ethanol gas dilemma. Yup, it was stale and nasty and gummed up the works.

So here's the fix. Add about an ounce of Seafoam to the gas tank. Might've been inclined to add more but that's all the room there was for it. Fired it back up. Thirty seconds later it was running like new, 100% instant throttle. Another satisfied customer. Works on all gas, even two-cycle.
