I thought it was here too, but apparently it is unenforceable and considered not illegal unless someone objects. I found some signs you can download from the FAA that have the FAA logo and the words No Drone Zone with a picture of a drone inside the red circle slash symbol. I am not sure that helps either but it does let drone flyers know they are being intrusive. The law abiding flyers will back off but not the criminals.

Well what happens to your privacy rights when some little snitch sends his drone cam over your fence while you are nude sun bathing and posts the footage on the internet ? If I seen one coming over my property I would shoot it out of the sky. Our laws state that we own all the airspace over our properties and any intrusion into that airspace is regarded as trespassing.

What country are you in? I looked it up and what you say is true (mostly) in the U.S., but apparently the police do not think it is enforceable. That is probably why the FAA made the signs, to at least set a precedent and send a message that intrusion will not be tolerated, but it is up to the land owner (does not apply to renters) to prosecute if they can find an authority that will help them.

Tasmania. Well there are no drones UAVs flying over my town they are not even allowed to use them in parks. Maybe they can fly them on their own properties but then what's to stop them filming their neighbours property from their own property. I guess there is also the safety aspect as far as drones falling out of the sky and damaging property or people . I wouldn't want to get clobbered by a 20 kilo drone.

I think that there are businesses that use drones to deliver parcels in the United States. If they outlawed drones a lot of companies would probably whinge about it.

The drones I'm talking about are not military drones, they are small, probably half a kilo in weight, if that. They are all the rage for teenage boys and reprobates. They have cameras that are synched to smart phones.

I have heard that Amazon is using them in California, but it is a still in test mode as far as I can tell. I am not talking about delivery drones or large drones. I am talking about small drones with cameras. The guy who tried to sell me solar panels had one so that he didn't need a ladder to go up on the roof. It was cool but I wondered what he did with it when he wasn't working.

The neighbor's son had one a few years ago and he was flying over everyone's back yard. I happened to be in the back yard doing yard work and I yelled at him, he was in the next yard and could hear me. I could see him flying the drone. I told him to never fly it over my property. So it went away. Later I saw it fly down the street around my property and go into the back yard of the next house. He is the young man who has criminals as friends and was raised by a man whose father spent most of his time in prison so I know he was up to no good.

I got up early this morning and started planting the corn and green bean seeds in the garden, however the wind picked up terribly and after being wind whipped for 30 minutes longer than I cared for I ceased planting for the day...Was tired since I stayed up late last night and took a nap but Kobi woke me up after a short time because of the wind...The wind picked up even more and has been blowing strong all afternoon knocking out the grid power a couple times, the secomd time was a 45 mintute power outage...It freaks out the dog when the wind is blowing like this, its like a hurricane coming...

Just finished planting the garden, it's been a lovely day for planting...Two kinds of tomatoes, Brandywine and a white tomato variety, also crooked neck watermelons, French green beans, flat green beans, bell peppers, and yellow sweet corn...

A friend of mine stopped by yesterday and showed me his brand new Mazda MX-5 in deep, deep metallic maroon. Beautiful car but I can't even begin to fit in it. I think they used to be called Miata. Nifty little car.

He's 65 years old and the last time he indulged himself with about anything was when he bought his 1986 FJ1200, which he still has in perfect condition. Two college educations, a wedding and a house and I'd say he deserved something for himself. Nice to see him kick back a little.

Just took the bike out to the driveway for a little potato-potato-potato, not actually going anywhere on it right now. It needs it's annual state inspection but my guy retired two years ago and I have just ignored it.

I'll go to this ..... doofy ... plastic ..... extremely uncool recreational vehicle place to get it done. God help me I think they sell those Can-Am abortions there too. Should only be there 5 minutes, it's a roll up inspection. I just don't want have any the total coolness I've carefully crafted over the years to get rubbed off.

That sounds typical. People have psychological hang-ups with their stuff especially when they have to down-size.

I definitely have my endurance back and much of my strength back, I wasn't tired at all after moving all his furniture, the friend I was helping kept having to stop for short breaks after every big piece we moved to catch his breath but he smokes a lot too, I don't...
