We have this weekend with temps in the mid 90s, humidity is always a factor here, even in cooler months, but after Monday our temps are dropping back to the upper 70s for highs...

Yeah, the trouble is where you can't see unfortunately - it's leaky. He keeps a couple of cookie sheets underneath. Gaskets and seals dry out. Sooner rather than later that car is headed to a serious collector who has the resources to take care of all that - and who has been waiting for that car for 30+ years. It's the real deal, not so many of those things still in the original owner's hands.

I don't know much about gardens but I do know you plant yours every year and I came across this youtube video that talks about vegetable that you can grow from kitchen scraps so I thought I would pass it along to you. It may not be useful or it may be something you have never thought of I don't know. Just thought I would share.

A 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie 500 Fastback with the Thunderbird 390. Also the original owner, drove it home from the dealership. Red
Weird synchronicity, he moved in to a place 100 feet literally out the back door of where I grew up - but moved in the same year I left. Same cars and all were there. Peculiar, especially all these years later

Seems my work there is done. Getting it running was apparently an important step - he finally called the guy that wants it and it will be on it's way. I'm going to source an obscure part for it he wants as a feel good and then off it goes to its new life. That thing and the costs associated with it are way the hell out of my league.

A nice three day weekend is here, most welcomed too and looks to be a pleasant weekend outside, with weather in the low 80s and partly sunny skies, no rain on the menu...Might take a day trip to the mountains on Sunday, if the temps are in the low 80s here it will be 10 degrees cooler in the mountians...

We have a 3 day weekend here in Canada too because of Labour Day. Yes, we spell Labour with a u in it. lol

I spell Labour with a u as well, many Americans don't from what I've gathered but I'd think it's the proper spelling...Our holiday Monday is also called Labour (Labor) day, it's always on the first Monday in September...

That's exactly the same as us. I knew we shared the same Christmas, Boxing Day, Easter, Halloween, Valentines Day and New Year, but I didn't know we had any other ones in common.

So, I was feeling a bit peckish around 2am and decided to go to Tim Hortons and get a sandwich and maybe a couple donuts and some coffee. When I got there there wasn't a soul in sight. No one on the road when I drove there and no one when I pulled into the drive thru to order. Everything I tried to order they didn't have. Finally I just had her list what they did have and chose from that. As I was ordering, someone pulled in behind me. When I went to the pick up window I decide to order an extra sandwich. She asked me to pull up to the front doors and she would bring my order out to me.
As I was sitting waiting, I couldn't believe the parade of cars that were lined up at the drive thru entrance. lol I had to wait quite a long time because I think there was just her and one other person working. When she came out with my order she apologized for the wait and said she gave me a few extra donuts for having to wait so long. I thanked her and drove home. When I unpacked my order I was shocked to find out that she gave me 6 extra assorted donuts and 4 different kinds of muffins.
