Thought this was a good spot for this - a peek at contemporary ufology. Always been a pot luck soup of personalities and nothing has changed.
I listen to
The Black Vault podcast. Not exactly to my taste but I come back to it because John Greenewald is one of those people who has been plugging away for quite some time and has done good work. I've been told he can be a dick on social media - maybe so. But I recently listened to an episode on his podcast plus these two on
A Different Perspective.

All are conversations with Anthony Bragalia.
Then today in the background I listened to another
Black Vault in which Mick West and Robert Powell had a decent conversation about the Nimitz encounters.
Ep. #73 – Robert Powell and Mick West on The Nimitz UFO Encounter - The Black Vault
Greenewald did a decent job as moderator. Both guests spoke their piece. Mick West probably won the silver loving cup for quiet composure. Powell's case rests on not just witness testimony but a very specific version of a specific piece of testimony. At the very end West says that there are some things that are provable facts that should be verified. To the uninitiated like me who doesn't really follow anybody I asked why that hadn't been done yet - I mean this has been going on for years now.
So go ahead and have a listen. All these are more about classic ufology behavior and personalities than the cases themselves.
