BLM leader accuses Dems of not being 'for' Black community, endorses Trump bid in 2024

A Black Lives Matter (BLM) leader threw his support behind former President Trump in the 2024 race for the White House, accusing Democrats of racist policies that are working against the Black community.

Mark Fisher, who is the co-founder of Black Lives Matter Rhode Island, joined ‘FOX & Friends’ to discuss why some Black voters are leaving the Democrats as they contemplate who they will vote for in the 2024 presidential election.

"It's the duplicity of the Democrats, the hypocrisy," Fisher told Lawrence Jones Tuesday. "We're not stupid. The brothers are not stupid. We understand when someone's for us and when someone is not, and it's obvious that the Democratic Party is not for us."

"The policies actually strike at the heart of the Black family and the nuclear family," he continued.

Fisher argued Democrats "don't value" the Black vote during an interview with "The Kim Iversen Show" earlier this month while praising Trump for advocating policies to uplift the community.

"We've been used and abused for so long by that party, they don't value our vote," Fisher said. "Their policies are basically racist policies. I believe it's a racist party. Donald Trump is just the opposite. He's he's going to tell you how it is. He's going to give it to you straight."

"Trump has done more for the Black community than I can any president I can think of in my lifetime," he continued.

Ahhh, political theater. Waiting on SCOTUS. I'm sure they remember the political theater they've been subject to, including at their own homes.

REVEALED: The four Democrat-picked Colorado judges who booted Trump off the ballot - Ivy Leaguers, a gay icon and a jazz musician - as experts warn they've lit a fuse under US democracy

The all-Democrat appointed Colorado Supreme Court last night barred Donald Trump from the state's 2024 Republican ballot over his role in the January 6 riot - with legal experts warning they have imperiled American democracy. The 4-3 decision marks the first time in history that Section 3 of the 14th Amendment - which disqualifies insurrectionists from office - has been used to eliminate a presidential candidate. Justices Richard L. Gabriel, Melissa Hart, Monica Márquez and William W. Hood III said that they had 'little difficulty' in determining that the events of January 6 were an insurrection and that Trump did 'engage' in that alleged rebellion. In the career-defining decision, the justices claimed that they did 'not reach these conclusions lightly' and said they were 'mindful of the magnitude and weight of the questions' before them. But legal experts last night warned that the obscure Rocky Mountain judges had lit a fuse under the nation. Legal scholar Jonathan Turley said: 'This country is a powder keg, and this court is just throwing matches at it.' Trump last night spoke at a rally in Iowa following the landmark decision, branding Biden 'a threat to democracy' and accusing the Democrats of using 'any means necessary' to interfere in the election. His campaign team claimed the Colorado Supreme Court was under the influence of a 'Soros-funded, left-wing scheme'.

Man, Hitler is getting a lot of air play lately. Who would've thought naked anti-Semitism and invoking Adolf's ghost would be in fashion in 2024 ? What's for 2025, a big Stalin or Pol Pot shindig?

Not defending DT here but I think the comparison to Hitler doesn't work if you actually maybe read a book or two about, well, you know, know, Hitler. But who does that anymore when their media device can tell them what they need to know, which is increasingly AI driven. For his part DT is a nitwit who can't speak who just proved it again. Problem is his feet don't actually fit in his mouth which means it just keeps going and going. Ugh.

This is what real insurrection looks like.

Colorado's unconstitutional anti-Trump fiat is a judicial power grab that'll trigger Republican retaliation and plunge the 2024 election into chaos

The decision by the all-Democrat Supreme Court of Colorado to remove Donald Trump from the ballot is among the most undemocratic and unconstitutional rulings that I have ever read in my 60 years of teaching and practicing law. The 4-3 judgment purports to derive its authority from Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which was enacted after the Civil War. The measures were designed to prevent individuals who had engaged in the insurrection and rebellion of 1861-1864 from running for certain political offices. But authors of the 14th Amendment never intended for it to be used to deny voters the right to decide who their next president would be in all future elections. To the framers of this amendment that would have been utterly ridiculous. The end result will be more disarray in our electoral system in the 2024 presidential election and beyond. Make no mistake - the Colorado Supreme Court has damaged American democracy and violated our constitution. And the American people will pay the price - as the country inevitably become more bitter, distrustful and divided.

Say hello to Biden 2.0.

Doubtful, his own party doesn't want him to run for a second term...I'd like to see Kennedy win as an independent...

Lol, people are worried about Trump being president. that's because they are listening to corporate-owned media. The same media that's telling us that to spite everything, somehow things are so much better now than when Trump was in office...

I miss when the economy was stable and when feeding a family didn't cost 40 percent of an income. I miss when being educated meant there was a job out there to be had for you. I MISS WHEN EVERYTHING WASN'T ON FIRE AND COLLAPSING..

I miss when having five grand in the bank was something to aspire to, not just one month's bills...

I plan on voting for Trump. If Trump wins, everything will get better for all of us.... see the truth is. at the end of the day, I'm not voting for the best solution for Cambodia or Afghanistan or for some percentage of unspoken equality for the Pygmy people. I want my work to mean something, my dollar to have value and my family to be fed.. yeah. Trump has my vote..

I'm waiting for Biden to tap out and Them to elevate Gavin Newsom. He's certainly been auditioning for the job. DeSantis said he's running a shadow campaign and he's right. Name of the game in politics is do what you want and accuse your opponents of it. I am embarrassed to be an American citizen right now. Wouldn't be anything else, but we have become a laughingstock

I was just thinking, that while im, not a liberal, I've generally been red on issues, mostly because, I believe people have inalienable rights, it seems like Dems will wave rights for fuzzy feel-good feelings.

But I was thinking about how hard and trying times seem today, The Obama era was almost a good time in history if you think about it in a pre-pandemic aspect. times in general were different and better.

But this could be rose-colored lenses of nostalgia... I think back to the early '80s. What a paradise of a time.. it's sad that so many youngsters today will never know a time so peaceful as that...

Now California guns for Trump: Soros-backed Lt. Governor demands state 'explore every legal option' to eliminate Republican hopeful from 2024 ballot as Colorado contagion spreads

Eleni Kounalakis, the Lt. Governor of California, on Tuesday wrote to California's Secretary of State calling for her to look into whether Donald Trump was ineligible for the 2024 ballot. She said it was a 'dire matter that puts at stake the sanctity of our constitution and our democracy' - and denied that she was acting out of 'political gamesmanship'. A decision to remove Trump in California would be hugely significant, given that California has more delegates than any other state in the union. Legal experts are divided on the merits of the case, and Colorado's decision has been stayed until next month.

I dont understand political law, but to me, this situation wreaks of powerful elitists trying to eliminate the voters' options.. consider, why would they press to eliminate if they didn't expect people to vote for him? therefore denying the voters their option, their right to vote for him. To me, not knowing political science. it seems like this should be some sort of electoral interference crime.. but. that's just my opinion.

To me, it doesn't seem fair that a state could decide to remove a nominee from a federal ballot. what those in office in Colorado think should not hinder the citizen's right to a federal vote for their president.

The insane vitriol toward Trump since Day 1 has led us to this. Literally a case of 'cut off your nose to spite your face'. Say anything, do anything to be rid of that horrible man and They still haven't realized that they are fueling him. Imagine if he does get reelected, the only one since Grover Cleveland like that. Nothing will get done, we'll have another four years of hair pulling and there is no farther Left we can go.

My problem with DT is he said he was 'going to drain the swamp' and failed miserably, in fact its worse than it was before. He did not do what he said he would and apparently the Art of the Deal did not extend to his Democratic colleagues. Excuses are simply that - excuses. So what if it was tougher than you thought? Taking another crack at it won't help.

SCOTUS will probably overturn this, we are looking at orchestrated political theater.

Leaders of group that led effort to boot Trump from Colorado ballot bankrolled Biden camp

(Excerpt)

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), a self-identified "nonpartisan" watchdog group, brought the Colorado lawsuit against Trump on behalf of "six Republican and unaffiliated Colorado voters including former state, federal and local officials," the group wrote on its website in early September.

CREW's leaders, meanwhile, have showered Biden with thousands of dollars in donations when he previously went head-to-head against Trump.

Beth Nolan, a former general counsel at George Washington University who also served as counsel to former President Bill Clinton, steers CREW's board as its chair. According to Federal Election Commission records, Nolan sent $2,800 to Biden's campaign and $3,000 to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020.

In addition to Nolan, CREW's vice chair, Wayne Jordan, donated substantial amounts to Biden's presidential apparatus by pushing $300,000 to the Biden Victory Fund in 2020. Jordan is married to Democrat megadonor Quinn Delaney, who added $650,000 to Biden's victory fund during the last election cycle, records show.

Despite its self-identified "nonpartisan" status, CREW has long been viewed as a left-leaning organization. David Brock, founder of the liberal groups Media Matters for America and American Bridge, previously ran the group as its board chair.

Critics argue the real 'threat to democracy' is the Democrats, not Donald Trump

Claims that former President Donald Trump and the GOP pose a grave "threat to democracy" have become a key Democrat talking point ahead of the 2024 elections, but several prominent Republicans and experts say it is really President Biden's party that is working overtime to undermine the vote.

To make their case, they point to Democrats' efforts to keep Trump off the ballot, imprison him, stifle free speech on social media, and rewrite election laws while fighting measures designed to protect ballot integrity. Those ongoing efforts, they say, are a much bigger threat to democracy than the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot Biden and Democrats frequently cite.

Biden summed up those efforts in a speech last year about saving the "soul of the nation" from Trump and his fellow Republicans, claiming they represented "an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic," were "a threat to American democracy," and "a clear and present danger" to all Americans.

Most recently, Democrats have thrown their weight behind state-level legal efforts to prevent Trump from appearing on 2024 presidential ballots, including in Colorado, where the state Supreme Court ruled 4-3 earlier this week that the former president violated the Constitution's 14th Amendment when he "engaged in insurrection" concerning Jan. 6, and should be disqualified.

"Democrats cynically used the COVID-19 pandemic to radically undermine long-standing election laws on the fly and then started pushing for non-citizens to vote in U.S. elections," Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told Fox News Digital. "Now the left is working to remove political opponents from the ballot in a shocking display of disregard for the American people’s right to choose their candidates."

"These attacks on the democratic process drive down voter confidence and trust in the electoral system. Meanwhile, the RNC and our partners are fighting to make sure the American people choose their presidential candidates, not the courts," she said, adding that the RNC was trying to protect election integrity by fighting for policies to ensure only American citizens vote in elections.

Legal expert and Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley agreed, calling the Colorado court's ruling "the most anti-democratic opinion in decades," and arguing that Democrats' claims about protecting democracy "would be more compelling if they were not supporting the effort to block voters from being able to vote for Trump and canceling primaries in states like Florida."

"It is also difficult to claim the mantle of the defender of democracy when your party is actively fighting for the censorship and blacklisting of those with opposing views," Turley added. "The best way to defend democracy is to practice it by supporting both the right to vote and to free speech in others, including those who hold opposing viewpoints."

The Colorado Supreme Court on Tuesday removed former President Donald Trump from the state's 2024 Republican primary ballot, citing the 14th Amendment's 'insurrectionist ban.' In a 4-3 decision, Colorado's high court ruled the ex-president and 2024 hopeful isn't elibigle for the presidency.

Trump is insurrectionist, that's so obvious.

You were lucky he didn't impose himself as a permanent dictator. If you want a populist for a POTUS there is plenty to choose from.

US economy is in permanent long term decline, no president can fix that in one term.
