Mike Huckabee is a shameless whore - he will literally say anything for $$$. I've caught him hawking all sorts of crap on tv, typically on Fox channels. He apparently dropped Trump like a hot potato. He had the exact same product for his former deity DT, now he's moved on with an identical 'educational' kit for kids for the new thing he's on. I wonder how DeSantis feels about it.

Oof. You’re going to need a Relaxium for this one.
Former Arkansas governor turned salesman of sleep aids and right-wing indoctrination guides for kids has a new book on offer. “The Kids Guide to
Ron DeSantis” can be yours for just $1! (Plus shipping and handling and a potentially lifelong financial obligation reminiscent of the Columbia House Record Club schemes of the 1990s.)
“Help your kids learn about Ron DeSantis and why he may be our next Commander-in-Chief!” touts an ad for the newest volume in Mike Huckabee’s Kids Guide product line. If anyone is wondering where the Huckabee family is casting their lot in the 2024 presidential primaries, wonder no more.
Other topics in the Kids Guides series include socialism, immigration, President Trump, staying safe online and “our one nation under God.” To be fair, Joe Biden got an issue, too.
The guides are put out by
EverBright Media, co-founded by the Huckster himself. The state of Arkansas is already a prized customer. In 2020 the Arkansas Department of Education shelled out $260,000 for enough copies of
The Kids Guide to the Coronavirus for every student in the state. The pamphlet listed decidedly rightward with its anti-masker advice that “face masks aren’t recommended as a way of preventing Coronavirus for healthy people.” Is this the indoctrination in public education his daughter, the new governor, keeps talking about?
In 2021
Max Brantley wrote about Huckabee’s
Kids Guide windfall at Arkansas taxpayers’ expense.
KIDS GUIDE: A snippet from The Kids Guide website, where future voters can be shaped into good Republicans.
Some of the products from EverBright Media are religious in nature, geared toward homeschoolers or church schools. And it just so happens that Arkansas might be creating loads of new customers soon, as
Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders pushes along a plan to divert taxpayer money away from public schools and into the hands of private, parochial and home schools that are free to use whatever curricula they like.
The fine print for Kids Guide customers warns that the company will keep sending a new guide every three or four weeks, at $21.90 a pop. And the access to their digital library runs $9.95 a month. But don’t worry, you can cancel anytime.
