What's Kobi's opinion of snow?
Eskimo Pie
Her name is PieIt is a cute video and made me smile throughout, but I don't understand the pie reference?
5 degrees F out there and the wind is screaming. Weather says wind chill is -10F and I'd believe it. Took the dog out and I think my testicles retreated up into my armpits. Brrrrrrrrrr........ she didn't take long, for sure
I'm ready for this winter storm, I ran the generator for an hour this morning, its good to go, and have 10 gallons of gasoline on hand for that and have 120lbs of propane for the propane heaters, 10 gallons of water and plenty of food...They're calling for more ice than snow in my area which will likely kill the grid power...Not going to work on Monday, the boss already told everyone to not come to work on Monday...The roads will likely be too icy and dangerous to drive early on Monday morning so he's keeping the business closed Monday...

Been shoveling snow, it's melting a bit today with temps just above freezing, we never lost power but I was ready if we did...I was out in my workshop yesterday afternoon when the ice started coming down heavy, sounded like hail hitting the metal roof lol...Hope you're hunkered down OK @nivek
34 degrees is not warm to me, maybe for Eskimos lol, it's hard for me to accumulate to colder weather, I wouldn't do well in an ice age...Very warm now at 34.
Long, long ago, I attended college in Binghamton, NY. The most notable thing about the weather was that snow would fall just prior to Thanksgiving, and would remain on the ground almost continuously until into the spring. Also notable, was how the locals took it in stride. There were no disruptions that I could notice. We're bouncing from mid 30s down to below zero again. More snow tomorrow.
Entropy hit my snow thrower; the chute angle control broke. Plastic thingus broke. Fifteen bucks and I'll have it by Tuesday. Not the end of the world and cool that I can still get parts for a machine that has to be 20+ years old
