Wow. So, if we are to believe this email:
- Once again, he cannot drive for Uber or Lyft.
- He hasn't paid his storage space yet. Soon another month will be due. I think we can see where this is heading.
- Best of all, "If I don't pay the hotel today, they will probably throw us out." Only probably? What kind of magical hotel has he stumbled into?
Of course it's hard to believe him. And if I do believe him, then it's hard to understand how he can't prioritize things in such a way as to avoid these outcomes. Pay the motel first. Being able to drive brings income; don't lose the ability to drive, and drive all you can while you still can. Give up on the storage space - sell anything there you can possibly sell. Etc.
I know it's easy to see solutions for other people's problems but, this stuff doesn't even seem hard. Assuming he actually wants to make the progress he claims he does. If you instead think he just will say whatever he needs to in order to justify begging, then it makes sense.
One way or another I think his own emails show a record of an inability to care for himself or others, or manage his own affairs.

That's what makes me think he is lying. The fact that he is still in the motel means he is paying them but is using the threat of getting thrown out to get more donations in. Gene has shown throughout the years that he doesn't have any problem with lying in order to raise money. That's why I never take anything he says at face value.

Exactly and I wonder if he will also say that he is paying that monthly since he can't pay it all in one go.
Plus you can bet that he will say despite his age, his premiums will be sky high because he is homeless and drives for Uber/Lyft. This will be the new monthly payment addition (except he will beg for it more often like he does with the monthly storage bill).
"I only have two days left to pay for car insurance or they will cut me off and then I can't drive for Uber...etc" .
It is almost certain to become a permanent fixture.
He is probably trying to come up with as many new bills to beg over as possible now.
He probably curses the fact that he is in a motel because then he can't try to beg for utility bills, even though he keeps saying there are lots of (nonspecific) bills to be paid - note he never says what they are. I presume the reason is he hasn't dreamed up what they are yet.

I just looked at the Paracast forums. There were zero members online and the past 10 posts were by Steinberg and Murphy. Are those two living in some sort of a Twilight Zone world? Sometimes you have to admit defeat unless it is all about scamming money and no other reason.

if Gene lived in Wisconsin he is now 6 to 7 days away from defaulting on the storage. he had a 20% late fee.
in my opinion his narrative will have him save his stuff by halloween.

Jesus H Christ I am no spring chicken but go to work at 0500Hrs, do a morning shift, go home then go back to work at 1700Hrs till 2000Hrs then bed to be up at 0400Hrs to start all over again.
To think I sent this lying sack of shit money and he cant even be bothered to work, to get himself out of this self-inflicted mess, the pipe dream is over you cannot and WILL NOT make a living via your parasite or tech site. You are a self entitled little prick that, to be honest, I wish he did get banged up or made homeless see how the Pratt gets on then in the real world the rest of us reside in.
It is hard on the street but I tell you what it made me the better person I am today and do not regret a single moment but this muppet well I've just read more that enough today and needed to vent at the self-entitled prick with ears!
