It is indeed interesting that Gene has stopped claiming he's collecting money for his brother in law's family since he died - Helene and the son are still alive, no word how they survive, or even where they're currently located. He drops and reinserts players into the bullshit narrative as needed/as he remembers them, which is pretty far from accurate. He's spinning lies off of other lies, hard to keep track of all the nonsense.

Disabilities are disabilities so I'm not saying the Helene's son isn't a financial burden; however Gene strongly messaged that storyline solicitations as if he was very young when in reality he was an adult.

This is serious.

My bank account is overdrawn.

I have to pay for food and shelter.

I am overdue with payments to the storage facility.

My wallet is nearly empty.

Since the bank account is negative, anything that’s sent through one of the peer-to-peer payment systems, such as Facebook Messenger and Venmo, will just go into the “black hole” of my bank account.

I realize some of you would prefer not to use Western Union or Moneygram. But that’s the best way to help me today.

They aren’t cheap, but Walmart has a deal with Moneygram that offers a lower rate. You can send payments at your nearest Walmart store, or use the following link:

"My bank account is overdrawn" This does not happen on its own. Either Gene wrote a bad check or failed to manage automatic payments.

"I have to pay for food." Not really given the food programs that are out there But I suppose he did not want to go to the Senior Center today or the food bank during the week.

"And shelter." Of course. Perhaps he should be looking for an Uber or Lyft fare rather than be on the computer. It's Saturday. Someone might be needing a ride.

And perhaps Gene should explain how he went through his social security check without stopping to pause the solicitations.

This lacks effort.

More and more, if the tales he tells are true, it seems like Gene cannot care for himself and his wife any longer.

Instead of being a ward of the state though, he's a ward of his mailing lists.

Once upon a time I sort of felt bad for her til I read the documents at the UFO Trail which included details about how she called up one of Beizer's victims and urged the woman not to cooperate with investigators, lest her cooperation delay the fictional imminent sale of their non-existent company. Now I feel like she was in on Beizer's scams and she earned any fallout from them.
