Seriously? Are you high? lol

The only reason I can think of is that they do have equipment that can see you inside your house. Maybe they thought you were pointing a weapon and did a few laps to make sure you were no threat. xxxx2

As Above So Below
Been out working in the yard most of the morning and midday before it got too hot...Can't complain about the heat this month, it's August and it's the hottest month of the year in my area, 92 degrees today and low 90s are forecast all week...Got all the weeding done in the garden, since the corn and beans are spent, going to till and plant some autumn crops in a few weeks, just a little early in getting things ready...I still have watermelon, tomatoes, and peppers growing...

The Farmers Almanac is calling for a harsh winter coming, so the autumn crops need to be planted early as possible just in case we do get a bad winter...

Been farting around with stuff since 0630 and got a lot done. I'll spare you all the mechanical minutia that I go on about.

We're headed into a heat wave and it's incredibly humid out there now. I don't know the exact number but it would be 'Guadalcanal' on the feel-o-meter. Have to get the mowing done and have been procrasturbizing.

Been cooler and rainy here over the last few days. About 16C on average.
I'm waiting for the rain to go away so I can proceed with the welding.

Also starting to clear out the loft.

I don't rise until ten am. But I don't go to bed until around 02:30. Even then I don't sleep well. Have to take a tablet at 8 am. Wife insists. That really mucks up the sleep.

It was in the mid 70s today. My wife and I did a few shopping chores. The rest of week is predicted to be in the mid 90s. We don’t wish to be out in that heat if we don’t have to. The lawn is burnt so no mowing for this week. It’s hard to believe we are already a week into August. Fall isn’t far away.

I was in traffic yesterday and got a pretty good look at a new Ford Mustang Mach E electric SUV. Oh Gawd, Steve McQueen must be spinning in his grave (at the redline of course). Just call it something else please, don't try to make it a Mustang.

I felt like Nancy Kerrigan there for a bit. Why ?

I looked at the Mustang photos. The styling leaves a lot to be desired. I don’t understand the grille shape at all. Frankly, it looks like a station wagon rather than an SUV. We’ll see how the public takes to this vehicle.

Everyone I know who has purchased a newer mustang model regrets it. They break down a lot.

New cars are crap. They are made of plastic and computer parts. Just my opinion.

My daughter bought a new ford mustang a few moths ago and had buyer's remorse the next day. After a couple of months she went to a different ford dealer and traded it for an suv (forgot the name). She has a larger payment, but she got full price for the mustang (what she bought it for) because they had no new cars coming in and the dealer was desperate to have at least on new car on the lot. I don't think fords are made very well anymore. She has always bought ford and has always had problems after the first year. I am still driving a 2008 Xterra, only got a seal leak and that was fairly inexpensive to have fixed because I never go to the dealer to get anything fixed. I expect that car will last me a few more years.

Sunday we had so much smoke in the air from California (800+ miles away) that there was a haze and we could smell the smoke. Everyone is having sinus issues worse than ever. Today it is cloudy and cooler than normal, but there is still the smoke smell in the air. I hope they can contain those fires soon and I feel sorry for anyone in California who has to breathe that smoke filled air. It must be horrible.

No idea about the Mustangs but my 2015 F150 is a solid truck, plenty of thanks and no regrets.

I dunno, I get my hands dirty and what I see when I look at plastic and computers is just the technology of the era.

Neighbors still letting their dogs loose. They don't own the dogs, their kids do.

Don't remember if I posted this but their property includes a man made pond that's been there for 50+ years. The previous owner stocked fish in it as a hobby. These folks want to swim in it - took a while for them to realize that it isn't a country swimmin' hole it's really residential runoff and no doubt septic grey water. This year they have a big fountain and must've done something to it because it took on a very pretty but very off looking blue tone. The fish like the rich and fruity water but it'll make the kids sick and maybe it did.

So if you want to swim in the end product of everybody's toilet flushings go ahead. But they let their dogs loose to do it too. I guess they have their kids and grand kids over to swim and that's where the dogs come from. Yesterday I opened my garage door to go to work and saw some soaking wet mutt come under my fence and make a bee line toward me. There is one neighbor between us and his dog - NOT a nice friendly dog rather literally a mouth foaming problem - is in his enclosure going bananas because that dog went right through their yard to get to mine. If he gets out there'll be a problem.

I shooed away the wanted visitor. Not the dog's fault their owners are that stupid. Called animal control and left a message. Jerry is not exactly Seal Team Six so my expectations are low. I won't hurt a dog like that but I will scare the living **** out of it and make it think twice about coming near hear. Air horn or something. Thing is, there is a guy a few doors down who ain't right and rumor has it the police were looking at him because a number of geese got poisoned. Wouldn't put it past him at all. All sorts of reasons to control you dog and what an ******e I am for objecting to all this.

Did I mention the chickens? These bastards got chickens and let them run loose - had them all over the driveway and lawn. I didn't have to do anything, the critters in the neighborhood did.
