It might be a Nanny State thing. But I suspect it's for the sake of the Opticians Lobby, so,they won't lose sales.Just for reading glasses why?...

I have discovered progressive/multi-focus reading glasses to be superior to the basic type. Much easier to switch between distances.

I would never have gotten corrective surgery for it's own sake. In each eye, the basic objective was cataract removal, with the lens replacement coming along for the ride.I still use soft contact lenses. With them in I just use a pair of 1.5 magnifiers and they work really well - I just park them on the end of my nose. Still reluctant to have corrective surgery. I've heard driving at night becomes much more problematic after that, IDK.

I hear that but you don't know until you know so chalk that one up.I should have left my bike stock . The zeda firestorm 80cc . Not . Waiting on a oko 21mm carb now. It couldn't get enough air and ran real lean with all the other performance mods I've did. I should be hitting close to 10000 rpm at 50mph with a 40 tooth sprocket.
I had a 850 speadbore holley on my 455 oldsI wasted two years on an old Holley 750 4160. Jets, pump cams, shooters. Now I know better. The brand new Holley 600 was the answer. That and tracing pesky vacuum leaks that weren't apparent before.
